. Today I’m taking a look at the second colourway of the Yeezy 450 called Dark Slate. The Yeezy 450 is a new model introduced this year with the Cloud White colourway that has been called 2021s best new sneaker design by some in the sneaker industry. You definitely can’t deny that its polarising and something very different. The Yeezy 450 released over the weekend on June 26th and retail for £170/$200. There’s is already another colourway in the pipeline and a rumoured restock of both the Cloud White & Dark Slate later this year.

At first I didn't like them but they grew on me and I like the Dark Slate better than the light one's.
I got these in the mail today and was so pleasantly surprised, I didn't expect to like them this much to be honest. My only complaint (which isn't really a complaint) is the sizing, I went ½ up but could have easily done a full size up
This shoe is perfect for narrow feet people. However as a person of the fat/wide feet community if you want a snug fit, glove 🧤, to TTS. If you want to wear a variety of socks with the same snug fit 1/2 size up. If you like your shoes to fit with slight room a full size up! #Greatshoe

Mine are said to come in tomorrow and I'm interested. Usually that's not even remotely my style but it's so different I at least want to get it in hand before I judge. Definitely prefer the more muted Dark Slate cw as the silhouette is already so wild. Really appreciate your work with the B-roll, looks clean as hell!

That was my thinking too. Initially I was going to pass, then I said let me try for them and if I Win and don't like Ill sell, but these are keepers.
Alright, got them in hand now (Adidas Germany was a tad late on the shipping) so I might as well update: I'm still no 100% on board with the style but the comfort for someone like me with narrower feet is a seller. I find the balance between stepping comfort and stability while still being a low-top impressive. I think I'll see these growing on me
I hit on Confirmed. I'm excited to finally be able to try a pair on and see what they are all about. Hopefully, I can pull them off; they seem a little tricky to style.
Just wear them with any type of jogger and you’re good.

I do like my Cloud Whites more but these are those but incognito. If you aren't feeling the cloud whites these aren't gonna change you're mind. Also feel like they look better with baggy pants for men's and for women try them with tights. It's crazy how versatile the 450s are with my fits vs my girls. Great vid as always bud.

Great video as always! This colorway is fire. I woke up to a W on them on Saturday morning, and they arrived already the next day on Sunday morning. Loving them. I have to go up a FULL size.

@@sickathanyoav88 ah man. Sucks. I go a full size up on most Yeezy models except for 1/2 up on 380s and that works out for me. I saw reviews saying they were cut small, so I made sure to go that full size up.

I feel these would look better with wider pants. While cuffed ones seem to be the "no brainer", once you have embraced the looser fit and learned to stop worrying about the extra space I promise it would open a world of options for you...including all the 700's & J's you have.
Tbh, wider pants go better with almost all shoes that are bulkier or high tops, but when they’re a bit more unique like this then they go well with wider pants as well, cuffed is just the “norm” for everyone noe
Pricing for these are plummeting on secondary market in Asia. I guess people still can’t get use to this design yet.

Hey mate, I got a W on the 450 resin. Need your advice on sizing. I got half size up but they feel very snug around the mid part of the shoe/foot. Is that normal? Do they break in? Or did I get the wrong size haha.

I normally wear a size 12 with Yeezys, size 12 for 350 700 v3s 500s 380s ultra boost too. I got a size 12 with the 450 and it is incredibly tight and I don't even have wide feet

I’d say These have the same comfort level as the foam runner . Squishy and breathable . No there not more comfy then 350s 700s but they still feel good

I paid resell price for the Cloud White which was insane for an 11.5. I like the shoe a lot but not enough to get it in all black, not a solid dark color shoe kinda individual.

How would you compare the comfort to the 500 lows? I feel like the 380 is more comfortable under foot than the 350 but the elastic around the ankle makes it less comfortable for am all day wear...similar review between the 2 non boost models?
I notice that my 380 got some movement side to side when on foot because not the shape of it. This looks more like the 350 shape and along with the fingers?, It will give it more stability than the 380.
Nice Yeezy!… I buy them from goat, but one side of the shoes come damaged on the inside socks back hill. I Keep use them and get worse, now the other side is start to get a hole too… I love them but I’m disappointed with the quality of the socks

I know I'm in the minority here and this is super specific but I HATE that the upper is dark mauve in sunlight and not just grey or black, looks terrible IMO. It's very similar to how the black static 350s look in sunlight, and it made me stop wearing my pair. It just isn't black at all, it looks like a shitty dye job. Your studio lighting makes them look sick but outside they look terrible.

The Cloud White pair already restocked on Yeezy Supply and Undefeated in the US on the dark slate release day. Will they restock again? Anyways, I usually like the OG colorways better. But for some weird reason, I like this pair in black better. More subtle and sleek and easier to rock too. Just my 2 cents

Much tighter. I wear 12 in 700v3 even though 12.5 is a little more comfy and got 12 in 450. 12 is tightttt. And I usually wear 12 comfortably in 350s
