The other day I decided to explain to a guy that's starting to become my friend (and I kinda like) why I tend to get late to social meetings. And it was because I'd rather get there when there's more people so I don't have to do smalltalk with anyone (which is what tends to heppen when you get there and there is only someone on the group you don't share interests with). I also said that when I get late then the conversation doesn't focus on me, and when I bring the attention to me is to talk about interesting topics, not to talk about how was my day.
After telling him that all interactions with him have been quite awkward. And even hostile. When I say what I really think people get so confused they don't know how to interact with me anymore.

    • @LiliAqvq
      @LiliAqvq  3 ปีที่แล้ว +29

I relate to every word you said. When you explain what truly happens to you, people even blame you for that honesty, for "ruining" the armony or something. I have felt guilty for speaking my mind. But whatever, I guess people are not use to transparency

INTPs in the 1950: Why is there no Internet already, I'm so bored out of my mind.
Well what could I do to entertain myself?
With all this new tec we invented shouldn't it be possible to fly to the moon... this sounds like a good thought experiment.
Some EJ type overhead the INTP talking to them self.
Going to the moon? That is my ticket to success. They will learn about me in history books. I will be the greatest who ever walked the earth. S*ck that other people I'm gone be the first one sending someone to the moon.
Story of how the moon mission probably started 😄
Don't know this was the first what came to my mind after reading the title.
Would be interesting if you comment some other scenarios. Maybe we can figure out what the content of the video will be. Winner will obviously be the one who got it right.

    • @LiliAqvq

Thx, if been around some ENTJs latey and that's just how they are. Sometimes it's kind of irritating how hard they try to achieve something just for the sake of achieving something. But their Work-Ethik is somewhat inspiring and helped me to focus more and overall improved my work habits.
So for the INTPs out there, if you lack motivation just find a ENTJ they will brute force it into you 😆

If you really think about the moon story you'll come to the conclusion that it didn't happen. The men who supposedly went there even said it didn't happen. And the pres talked on the phone to the moon in 1969 and I can't get reception in many parts of the area where I live in 2021?

I wonder what would be the equivalent of the net back int he 50s? Im going to see If a random search on google will highlight anything.... found this nugget --- The origins of the internet are rooted in the USA of the 1950s. The Cold War was at its height and huge tensions existed between North America and the Soviet Union. Both superpowers were in possession of deadly nuclear weapons, and people lived in fear of long-range surprise attacks. The US realised it needed a communications system that could not be affected by a Soviet nuclear attack.

I was a child INTP in the 1950s. I was never that hostile, and I never thought people disliked me. What I did complain about was the stereotype that women are not good at math and science, and that some careers - which I was interested in - were not open to women. My dad was an engineer. I had the same abilities, but I could not become an engineer.

Almost the same as INFP. I can't figure out the differences. Sometimes INFPs are more sarcastic, blunt and much bitchier than INTPs. By the way, I'm INFP.

Intp is a real human. They come with feeling. Sometimes they socialize. They can sometimes be conventional. I have mastered some emotions, including furry, anger, boredom, despodency, happiness, even scary things like codependency.
