  • Pete and Rookie head up the Montagne Noire trail with "The Kid" to discover the Mirador observation tower in St-Donat, Quebec. A night camping on top of the mountain during a cold October night last year.

Hi Pete, is this a trail that a Rav4 can handle? Thanks for the great video and awesome editing.

Thanks for the comment. Yes no problem with your Rav4. Especially now. They apparently graded the trail to make it easier to go up.

are these trails open to the public? or is there some sort of group you have to be part off
if so, what groups are there and how do i join them
    thank you!

@@davidlawand2805 you just need to join a off-road club that adheres to the Federation of 4x4 clubs of Quebec. The trail pass part is worth about 30$ and you can access all the maps of trails in that area and across the province of Quebec. For example I am part of the Montreal Jeep Club to get the pass.

You should’ve hiked down ten minutes from where you slept to check out the crash and memorial site of a WW2 Liberator. A lot of the wreckage is still there.
