The church uses the gym pretty heavy and have different athletic activities for the kids. I didn’t attend church but the two churches closest to me used to leave the doors unlocked so the local kids could go in and play in the gym. Funny how a bunch of unsupervised kids Would play ball, use the water fountain and bathrooms if need be but never felt like messing around in the church. I remember just appreciating the fact that they let us use the indoor court.
