No. Bro I went to medical college in Chennai. I had to face male dominance to a point. But my friend who studied in the north. She had horrible experiences. The guys in her class, male seniors and male prof kept telling her there's no use in women studying medicine coz you are gonna sit at home. And they wouldn't let her take history and all. Such assholes. And please don't belittle when women complaint about male dominance. You're lucky that you have normal men around you. Others didn't have the luck of having such good men in their hospitals. But this doesn't give you the right to put down other women. What if it happens to you? What if the people you complaint to say you're being dramatic and attention seeker or put you down? What are you going to do then?

What she said about not facing male dominance is so true. I work in the medical field and mostly interact with male colleagues but I’ve never felt overwhelmed by them. No. Bro I went to medical college in Chennai. I had to face male dominance to a point. But my friend who studied in the north. She had horrible experiences. The guys in her class, male seniors and male prof kept telling her there's no use in women studying medicine coz you are gonna sit at home. And they wouldn't let her take history and all. Such assholes. And please don't belittle when women complaint about male dominance. You're lucky that you have normal men around you. Others didn't have the luck of having such good men in their hospitals. But this doesn't give you the right to put down other women. What if it happens to you? What if the people you complaint to say you're being dramatic and attention seeker or put you down? What are you going to do then?

Everyone should support the other one who is the victim(whatever the issue is) to overcome it..if that can't be done don't just say that the 'problem doesn't exist' . U can get away with it but it's not the same for the person who faced it. Empathy towards others is the basic thing one should have.

Just because the society is progressing and women are actually becoming independent doesn't mean the struggle is over. The fact that you said 'it doesn't exist' itself shows that you have experienced only a small part of the society.
Again, does that mean educated people don't face this in work place.They do ...and such dominance sometimes are so easily accepted by everyone that you have to literally go against others to stand for yourself and sometimes you can't because of the work culture.
So always remember there is struggle for many people out there and respect that they are taking a stand by publicly talking about. Not everyone faces it. But if someone does please understand from where the person is coming from .
Also...this not about someone who is complaining about the society to hide their lack of effort but the ones who actually face it .
