We made it to China! 🇨🇳 This video explains how we entered China without a visa and also details our incredible time at Shanghai Disney 🐭 Here are some tips we came away with!
1. The best time to get short queues is right when park opens. Because of this, make sure to eat breakfast before heading to the park. We suggest breakfast at your hotel if they have it. You don’t want to waste anytime once you’re in!
2. The Premier Access pass was definitely worth it to enter Zootopia! The line to get into the land was long and we didn’t want to waste the short time we had. It also includes a fast pass to the Hot Pursuit ride in the land and you can buy it day-of in the app.
3. Speaking of the app, download it! It’s needed for checking wait times, looking up restaurant menus, and so much more. We have a folder on our phones with every Disney park app around the world (they’re all different)!
4. Ride queues are shorter during the parades so if you’re okay missing one, we’d recommend timing the popular rides during the show. There are multiple parades throughout the day so that added time can add up.
5. Hear me out but the corn flavored popcorn may be the best thing I’ve ever eaten in a Disney park 😳 It was THAT good. You can get it at the popcorn stand in Adventure Isle…I may have gone back multiple times.

Thanks for the video. This is exactly what I was looking for, down to the hotel. As far as the 144 hour Visa free transit, we are planning on flying from the states to Hong Kong and spending a few days there. Then flying to Shanghai for two days in Disneyland. Then flying back to the states, with a short layover in Tokyo. Do you think that will work? The Visa free transit seems complicated, and showing up in Shanghai and hoping we get approved is a little scary. Thanks for your help!
@@robertdumrauf808 So glad it was helpful!! Your plans sounds perfect. To our understanding, you need to arrive coming from country A and leave to country B. So if you’re arriving from Hong Kong and leaving to go to the USA/Tokyo, you should be good! As long as it’s not a round trip flight. Just make sure you have the flight info for your incoming and outgoing flight ready to show them. And prepare that they may need to check with supervisors, etc but as long as you’re patient, you’ll be fine ☺️ Enjoy your trip!! (And don’t forget to get the corn popcorn at Shanghai Disney 😂)
