      Keep thinking the same, she's come so far with her attitude towards people, her approach and judgement definitely has softened. So glad she's turned it around to help others and make a great show with it.

    This young lady, Haley, is so nice to watch. I’ve seen her in other cleaning shows and she’s always so sweet and pleasant to watch. With hoarders that is so important. The guys are great too, lol.

    cobwebs are not spider webs that are in use...they are webs that have been abandoned and are no longer being maintained by the spider.

      That, plus just take the spider outside, in its natural environment, where its food source lives. It’s not “eco-friendly” to allow the infestation of your house and you don’t have to kill the spider, take it outside. And cleaning products like water+vinegar are perfectly eco-friendly.

    Haley, I think our lovely homeowner is unaware that newspaper ink can contain toxic chemicals that are harmful to human health. Which include:
    lead, dyes, pigments, endocrine disrupters, naphthylamine, amoratic hydrocarbons, 2-naphthylamine, and 4-aminobiphenyl.
    Some studies have linked newspaper ink to bladder and lung cancers in newspaper printing workers. The chemicals in newspaper ink can also cause neurotoxicity, cardiovascular and kidney diseases, liver failure, and other health issues. 😱
    I think if she knew this, she’d be ok with glass cleaning cloths.

    Use vinegar and water in a cleaning machine. Better yet, don't have carpet.

      Wood flooring is absolutely vile, and harder to upkeep than carpeting.

      I needed a tip for my carpet cleaner...the commercial solutions aren't available around here..I was going to use a little borax but I use vinegar all the time to clean.

    your bed should be open on both sides so you can easily change the sheets. i can't imagine having to crawl across the bed to try to get sheets on.

    • @worldsworstneighbours
      @worldsworstneighbours  27 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      That's not a bad tip - or at least move the bed out when you make it

    I hate the time limits they put on these shows. I feel like four days to a week would be more reasonable and allow better sorting all of their stuff.

    I think that when a person needs to have complete strangers come in to clean their house, they forfeit the right to make cleaning product demands )unless one has allergies) that place was filthy and needed real bug spray and anti virus -bacterial cleaners.

    One thing I find interesting about many hoarders who claim they have a disability, is that they have no problem bringing all of the things in the house, but then just don't do anything more, except to do what they want to do. . If I had a disability, I would live a very minimal life style. The less one had, the less there is to take care of

      First of all, my house is nowhere like this, but please don't say what you would do with a disability. When you live in chronic pain, there is lots you can't do, but you have to have some joy in your life to get through the chronic pain. This is coming from someone who has Fibromyalgia and so much more. I do what I can around the house, but I also have to find an outlet to help deal with the pain.

    Ok. So she has Fibromyalgia. She is lying on sofa with shoes on, she goes to second hand stores but she can't clean, but she can sit at a sewing machine and to sew. I think she needed someone to clean her home especially the windows. How do you know if you are good at something if you don't try. She needs to get someone to work on the garden unless she is going to get goats to eat it. She is taking environmental friendly too far. She also needs counseling that's if she plans on keeping her home clean.😮
