With options to suit a range of budgets and features, the knee guards from Fox Racing will keep you protected and looking good while out on the trails. Much appreciated, ive been riding to work across trails/off road. Came off hard and bashed knee, this video exolains well the difference. Local shop had Enduro D30 which got for £55 which seems like a good deal, could obviously rry rhem on.

    I’ve had the Enduro D3O’s for a couple months now. I’ve crashed multiple times with the things on and they haven’t torn/shown any wear at all. The D3O’s technology seems to work. I was worried that these kneepads would slip down my leg, but they don’t all all unless I’m doing lots of large drops/jumps. I can wear the kneepads all day. I’d recommend these kneepads to anybody who is at an intermediate level, and wants good protection that isn’t too crazy.

      That is awesome feedback! Thank you for sharing that with us. I'm actually looking to get a new set so maybe I'll try those out! - Chase

      @@rmatvmc Curious what the difference is in the other D30 Enduro Knee Pad. It has the newer fox logo and seems to be a bit shorter? I didn't see it included on here (seems to be the only one left out) they aren't labeled differently on the site either..

    Nice video, I have the launch d30 and I disagree with them being bad for pedaling. On the climb, you can very easily slide them onto your shin so your joint has nothing covering it. On the descent you can pull it up.

    Replaceable pad plastics are normally attached with hook/loop.

    btw they have red caps for the launch pro's. So if you skuff them up. You can replace them easily.

    ive got enduro pro elbow and knee pads. knew pads are great, just get the sizing right. and the elbow pads I feel they need a strap, usually the slip up on falls.

    On the launch pro, remove plastic for the climb, slap em back on for the downhill. 👍🏼
    Which one has the longest shin panel?

    Hi, I've just watched your Fox and Leatt knee guard lineup videos. I ride mtb from easy black diamond through to all day pedal epics with technical parts. I think the best options for me would be between the Fox Enduro 3DO and the Leatt airflex hybrid. Looking at the "on leg" fitment for the Fox it looks like the mesh at the back of the knee bunches up a bit, did you find this an issue when riding?

    • @rmatvmc
      @rmatvmc  ปีที่แล้ว

      I haven't ridden in that specific knee pad so I can't answer that. I do have the Leatt Airflex Hybrid and I love them! MSR has a new MTB knee guard coming out very soon with D30 that was designed here at Rocky Mountain and it rocks! It's worth waiting for. You won't believe the price! - Chase

    would the launch and launch pro work for motocross? I was just about to buy them when I saw this video

    • @rmatvmc
      @rmatvmc  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yes, you would wear them for motocross. Only think about this type of knee guard is they don't offer much protection above the knee for impacts. If you took a bar to your thigh it wouldn't feel good. That is honestly one of the reasons I like knee braces, you get more impact protection on the thigh above the knee. - Chase

    @7:40 is the plastic really to make it more flexible? I just assumed it was to replace them if you...I don't know...crack them? No idea if that's even possible. Mine are really scratched up as I fix kid's bike regularly as we ride so I'd often be on my knees (they're almost like workwear :') but that doesn't change its functionality.

      Fox actually says the hard shell is to help with snagging and not getting caught up on roots or rocks if you go down. But it sounds like they're working nicely for you!

      I saw a graphic pic on reddit that ended someone's season for NOT wearing knee pads. A deep gash to the knee

    • @aberdeendeltaforce
      @aberdeendeltaforce ปีที่แล้ว

      @@KBA130 too much restriction for me, I grew up on bmx with no protection at all, scuffed knees, elbows, split head every time I rode the thing and I loved it, even today I only wear an open face helmet. All that gear just gets in the way when I’m trying to send it. No protection makes you a more skilled rider in my opinion so I’ll take my chances.
