On top of everything he does musically, it's also his duty to motivate the team, keep them together, act as a mediator between the members and the company, and communicate their vision. However, it must be difficult to see your friends struggling and questioning their future (something all people that age grapple with). While he would try to keep them all together as their leader, as their friend he would want them to be happy and to be able to do want they want to do. And he's only 24 years old. This just hit me in a such full force. People have always sung about self love and acceptance but me personally haven't really believed in that stuff. Those songs seemed I would say fake even, eventhough it wasn't the case. Those songs haven't really had such an powerful impact to me. I've just kept living my life I guess, kept worrying about how I look or am I enough for everyone else.
But when you truly listen to them especially in a live versions. They are so fierce, so aggressive for example in Idol when they yell you can't stop me loving myself. You just gotta scream that one single line too with them, can't really help it.
And step by step they make you believe that yes. YOU should love yourself. They make you, hell they even force you to love yourself through their music. It is like brainwashing. Step by step you start to believe in that too. Yes, I should love myself. I WILL love myself. And that is some next level powerful shit.
