    You cannot apply for the letter of commitment 6 months earlier than the visit date it means that the date should be within 6 months from the date of applying of letter of commitment

    can I use the obligation letter twice? I mean, I used the obligation letter to go to Germany in June, which was effective in June, I returned to my country on the 28th of August. I want to apply for a language visa, can I use the same obligation letter that I used in the beginning for the schengen visa or do I have to look for one language visa? and when does it expire?

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  หลายเดือนก่อน

      No, you cannot use the same obligation letter (Verpflichtungserklärung) for a new visa application if it was already used for your previous Schengen visa. Each Verpflichtungserklärung is typically tied to a specific visa application and purpose. For your new language visa, you'll need a new obligation letter. The validity of the letter usually lasts for 6 months, but it can only be used for the visa type it was initially issued for. Let me know if you need more details on how to get a new obligation letter!

    How long is the processing time after you've submitted document for proof of commitment

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  หลายเดือนก่อน

      The processing time for a Letter of Commitment (Verpflichtungserklärung) for a Germany visa usually takes around 1 to 2 weeks after you’ve submitted the required documents. However, the exact time can vary depending on the local Foreigners' Authority (Ausländerbehörde) or embassy handling your case, and how busy they are.
      If you need a faster process, it’s a good idea to ask the specific authority about their current timeline when you submit your documents.
      Let me know if you need more info on the process! 😊

    I reside in Pakistan and I have applied for my masters admission in Germany which I got. So, The thing is my maternal uncle financially supporting me he lives in Germany and a German citizen. He's not sponsoring me just financially supporting me.The German embassy requires the blocked account money which is 11208 Euros. My uncle direct transferred to my coracle blocked account and I had received confirmation letter of blocked account from the Coracle. My uncle also written a financial support letter for me in which he mentioned that I am his maternal uncle and I financially supporting him. Where he also mentioned additional documents such as bank statements and salary slip for as a proof.
    Financially supporting me but he's not sponsoring me.
    Now I was filling the visa application form where they asked a question "Has a formal declaration of commitment been completed?"
    No
    Yes, by the reference
    Yes, by the sponsor
    Now which option I have to choose?

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      In your case, the appropriate answer to the question "Has a formal declaration of commitment been completed?" on the German visa application form would be "No."
      Here's why:
      Your uncle is providing financial support but is not formally sponsoring you as per the definition typically used in visa applications. A formal sponsorship often involves a legal or binding commitment to cover all expenses and responsibilities during your stay, which seems to be different from the arrangement you have described.
      Since your uncle transferred the funds directly to your blocked account and provided a letter of financial support (along with additional documents like bank statements and salary slip), this arrangement is more about financial support rather than formal sponsorship.
      The funds required for your stay are already secured in your blocked account, which is a key requirement for the student visa.

  • @ritablossom940
    @ritablossom940 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Sir Please I have an urgent question. if a sponsor's finance is insufficient proven by the authority in Germany, can the declaration of commitment still be issued?
    Secondly I wish to know can a potential student use one declaration of commitment letter that was issued for a University of their choice that is when they had two or more admissions. Thank you

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      If the sponsor's financial proof is deemed insufficient by the authorities in Germany, the declaration of commitment (Verpflichtungserklärung) may not be issued. Sufficient financial resources are a key requirement for the declaration, which guarantees that the sponsor can cover the costs of your stay.
      As for the second question, a potential student can generally use one declaration of commitment letter for multiple university admissions, as long as the letter covers the intended period and financial support needed for the stay in Germany. However, it's important to confirm this with the relevant German authority or consulate to ensure no specific restrictions apply to your case.

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      In Germany, a Verpflichtungserklärung (Letter of Commitment) is typically used to show that someone in Germany is financially supporting your stay. Whether your sister, who is doing an Ausbildung (vocational training) and holds a residence permit, can provide this declaration depends on her financial situation. She must prove she has sufficient income to cover both her own expenses and yours.
      It’s best to check with the local immigration office (Ausländerbehörde) in Germany, as they will have specific requirements and can confirm whether your sister’s situation allows her to provide the commitment for your visa application.

    Bitte dich für meine anderen fragen, is it common for people to have a host for study or rare to find someone or some company for support?

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It is relatively common for people to have a host or support when applying for a study visa in Germany, especially for international students. Many students who come to study in Germany have a host institution, such as a university, that provides support and guidance throughout the visa application process. Additionally, there are various organizations, including universities and student support services, that assist international students with the visa application process and offer support upon arrival in Germany.
      Having a host or support system can be beneficial as it provides assistance with the necessary documentation, accommodations, and orientation to the new environment. However, it's important to ensure that the host or support organization is reputable and recognized by German authorities to avoid any visa-related issues.
      While it is common to have a host or support, it is not impossible to apply for a study visa independently. Many students successfully navigate the process on their own, but having support can make the transition to studying in Germany smoother and more manageable, especially for those unfamiliar with the German system.

      Yes, you can still apply for a visa without a letter of commitment from your sister. You will need to demonstrate that you can cover all expenses during your stay, including accommodation, travel, and living costs, through your own financial means. Ensure you provide sufficient proof of your financial stability with your visa application. Good luck!

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, your brother's job contract is valid for a Letter of Commitment (Verpflichtungserklärung), as long as it shows stable financial resources. The job contract being valid for 9 months beyond your application date should generally be sufficient, but the German authorities will ultimately assess if the income is enough to cover your stay. Ensure he meets the financial requirements for sponsorship.

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The specific amount required in your bank statement for a Germany visa can vary depending on the type of visa and the length of your stay. While having a formal obligation and a personal invitation can be advantageous, it's still important to demonstrate you have sufficient funds to cover your expenses during your visit. As a general guideline, having at least €8,640 for a year's stay is common for a student visa. For tourist or visitor visas, having around €45-75 per day for your stay is recommended. However, the exact amount may differ, so it's best to check the official guidelines provided by the German consulate or embassy for your specific visa type and situation.

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No, you generally do not need to bring a commitment letter when traveling to Germany for the first time as a tourist. Immigration authorities typically check for valid passports and, if required, visas, but a commitment letter is not usually necessary for tourist visits. However, make sure to have all necessary travel documents and funds for your stay. If you have a specific legal reason to carry a commitment letter, such as a visa application, ensure you have it with you.

    Can any school education acts as a host for verpflichtungen for study abroad?

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  ปีที่แล้ว

      In Germany, a "Verpflichtungserklärung" (commitment letter or declaration of commitment) is often used in visa applications, particularly for visiting students. This declaration is a document in which a host in Germany commits to covering all costs related to the stay of the visitor.
      Regarding your question about whether any school can act as a host for this declaration for study abroad purposes: typically, it is individuals (like a family member or friend) or organizations (like a university or a company) in Germany that can act as hosts. However, the specific regulations and eligibility for schools to act as hosts would depend on the school's policies and the regulations set forth by the German authorities.

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  ปีที่แล้ว

      If you're utilizing a declaration of commitment for your two-year study period in Germany, it's important to note the travel possibilities. Within the EU, you can freely move between countries due to the Schengen Agreement, given that Germany is a member. However, if you plan to travel outside the EU, it's advisable to ensure the ongoing validity of your declaration during your absence and to research the visa requirements of the specific countries you intend to visit. Always verify travel-related information with the relevant German authorities and consult the embassies of other countries for accurate visa guidelines.

      @visalibrary  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      For your friend to provide a "Verpflichtungserklärung" (commitment declaration) for your study visa in Germany, her income must be sufficient to cover her own living expenses as well as yours. The exact amount can vary based on several factors including the cost of living in Berlin and any dependents she might have. Generally, she should have a disposable income that exceeds the German poverty line by a reasonable margin to comfortably support an additional person. It’s advisable to contact the local Ausländerbehörde (foreigners' registration office) in Berlin for specific guidelines on income requirements for the Verpflichtungserklärung.

      Hello! I understand your concern. Since your embassy appointment is in September 2024 and the Verpflichtungserklärung (letter of commitment) from your friend states an entry date of July 1, 2024, it may be best to get a new letter that reflects your actual intended entry date. This way, it will align with your visa application and the embassy’s requirements. It’s important to have accurate documentation to avoid any complications with your visa application process. Please ask your friend to send you an updated Verpflichtungserklärung with the correct dates. Good luck with your application!

      Proof of Experience:
      Evidence of previous work experience relevant to the job offer.
      CV/Resume:
      An updated curriculum vitae or resume.
      Proof of Health Insurance:
      Health insurance coverage valid in Germany. Your employer may provide this, or you may need to arrange it yourself.
      Proof of Financial Means:
      Evidence that you can support yourself financially until you receive your salary, if required.
      Residence Address:
      Proof of accommodation in Germany, such as a rental agreement or an invitation letter from a host.
      Visa Fee Payment:
      Proof of payment of the visa application fee.
      Additional Steps:
      Appointment: Schedule an appointment with the German consulate or embassy in your home country to submit your application and attend an interview.

      To show proof of your relationship with your dad’s friend for the purpose of a German visa application, where your dad’s friend is acting as your sponsor, you will need to provide a few specific documents:
      Letter of Commitment: Your dad’s friend must provide a formal "Verpflichtungserklärung" (commitment declaration), which is typically obtained from the local Alien’s Office (Ausländerbehörde) in Germany. This document declares that they will cover all your expenses during your stay.
      Proof of Relationship: To establish the relationship, you can include:
      Written statements from both you and your dad’s friend explaining your relationship.
      Any relevant documentation that supports the relationship, like emails, letters, photos of joint activities, or other correspondence over time.
      Additional Documentation: Your dad’s friend will need to demonstrate their financial capability to support you during your stay. This might include bank statements, proof of income, or other financial documents.
      Supporting Letter: A letter from your father might also help, which explains how he knows the friend and details of the relationship between the friend and your family.

      If your son's visa application was rejected due to a false document claim regarding the commitment letter, you should take the following steps:
      Clarify the Issue: Contact the German consulate or VFS Mumbai to understand the specific reason for the rejection and clarify that the commitment letter was not false but issued later than expected.
      Gather New Documentation: Obtain a new, updated commitment letter and any other required documents that clearly address the reason for rejection.
      Reapply for the Visa: Prepare a new visa application with the updated commitment letter and ensure all other documents are complete and accurate.
      Include an Explanation Letter: Write a letter explaining the situation and the steps you have taken to rectify the issue. Highlight that the delay in the issuance of the commitment letter was not intentional.
      Consult a Visa Consultant: Consider consulting a visa expert or immigration lawyer to ensure that your new application is correctly prepared and addresses all previous issues.
      Reapply Promptly: Submit the new application as soon as possible to avoid further delays, especially since the course has already started.

    Can my parents sponsor me even if they don't reside in germany

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No, for a Verpflichtungserklärung (Letter of Commitment) in Germany, the sponsor must be a resident of Germany. The purpose of this document is to guarantee financial support from someone living in Germany during your stay. If your parents do not reside in Germany, they cannot provide this specific type of sponsorship.

    my uncle's son is in germany. Can he sponsor me? He isn'yta blood relative

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  ปีที่แล้ว

      In Germany, sponsorship for immigration purposes is typically limited to close family members, such as parents, spouses, children, and, in some cases, siblings. Your uncle's son (cousin) would not usually qualify as a sponsor for family reunification under German immigration rules because he is not a direct blood relative. However, immigration rules can change, and there may be certain exceptional circumstances or alternative visa categories that could apply.

    How much can an unskilled worker earn to bring her wife and two children to germany

    • @visalibrary
      @visalibrary  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The income required for an unskilled worker to bring their spouse and two children to Germany varies by region and residency status. Generally, you need to show sufficient income to support your family without relying on social benefits. This can range from approximately €1,500 to €2,000 or more per month, depending on your location. You'll also need suitable accommodation and health insurance. It's essential to check the specific requirements with your local immigration authorities and consider seeking advice from experts to ensure you meet the financial criteria.
