- Join us as we head to Walibi Belgium in the final vlog from our European Theme Park Road Trip! In this video we experience Kondaa, a brand new Intamin Megacoaster and share a variety of on ride POV's from this spectacular new roller coaster. Along with that we share on ride POV's from all of the other major rides at the park such as Tiki-Waka, Vampire and many more. It was great to experience the fantastic atmosphere from the re-opening day of the park after devastating floods damaged huge parts of Walibi Belgium back in the summer. A huge thank you to everyone who has joined us on our European Theme Park Trip across the past 2 weeks!

It’s my home park ! I went there on May 8 for the opening of Kondaa! Greetings from Belgium (I’m so proud, my country became a nice place for coaster fans!) 🇧🇪

Kondaa was my 50th coaster, we were there for the opening day and actually managed to get the back row on the first ever public train. Most exciting thing I've ever done at a theme park! :D
My expectations were a little misplaced unfortunately, so I came off a little underwhelmed. We also only had 2 rides, as I had to get all the other credits as well and it was super busy. But I'm definitely going back next year as I really enjoyed the park and hopefully I'll like it more then :)
Can't believe I had my 100th credit yesterday, time's passing so quickly!

Charlotte's absolute hatred of water rides is honestly my favourite thing. Also glad to see you at the reopening of one of my home parks ! Surprised there weren't more people there

What a trip! Thanks for having us along. Really love how in detail these vlogs go, really sets the mood. Charlotte is very cute and funny and you really get to know the parks, not just because of the rides but because of the whole experiance sprinkled with fun facts. Also enjoyed the POVs, most vlogs don't bother with it because they are out there, but I feel left out when theyre not there. it also gets me excited when you talk about riding it again so i can watch the same coaster once more. keep doing what yer doing guys!

I like how Tiki Waka is above the park. Like 20-30' above the walkway nearly the entire ride. That's really cool. Love how more and more parks are putting 5% of their expansion budget into theming. Taking it out of the ride and putting it into theming/station/queue line is almost always worth it.

Wow I am amazed that they opened this year at all with it being so late in the season. Flooding is one of the worst things that can happen to a park. You can stop a fire, but you cannot stop a flood. And none of the ride systems react well to be underwater. They must have been working overtime since it happened. I used to be in the flood restoration business so I know what needed to be done. And if you look closely you can tell that parts of the park were over a meter deep.
The park did such a great job to reopen!
@@ThemeParkWorldwide Funny enough I just saw another video saying Loop Garoue needs the iron horse treatment in the worst way. Pretty bad when an SLC is better than a woody.....

The pasta pot that Charlotte got reminds me of something I used to get at high school for lunch - Pasta King! I don't know if you have heard of it, but it was so cheap for a box of pasta and you could choose from like 4 different toppings every day with cheese on top! It was amazing!

They'll be retheming Psyké Underground (again :') ) back to it's prev. name, Turbine, I assume Flashback is also gonna be rethemed? All to harbour theme with a really awesome looking Gerstlauer Family tripple-launch coaster :0 It's givin' me major Tiny-Taron vibes to be honest :p If you're interested I advice you look it up, I don't know if you'll find it in English though...
For good results try it in Dutch, ''Nieuwe Achtbaan Walibi Belgium''

The park allow on ride filming with the correct equipment! Don’t worry, we’re straight into Halloween now!

It looks like the park will be adding their Tivoli back for next season. Since there is already a children's ride in the area, I'm guess it will basically be Kondaa Jr. I was also thinking what if the park pulled a Kings Dominion and replace their top spin with an S&S free spin, possibly provide 2 experiences (maybe put a less intense experience on the outside to please the residents and a more intense experience on the guest-facing side as it feels like there is a big jump between Psyche Underground/Kondaa and Tiki Waka/everything else

Would be brilliant to see some thing this scale In the UK. Would be perfect for Thorpe. Would be nice to see a different type of themeing as well other than our usual horror/end of world (theming where you can leave and do nothing to it and it makes it seem ‘’authentic’’)

Walibi Belgium has a few underrated attractions such as Psyké Underground and Challenge of Tutankhamon. Kondaa is a very good addition to this park. They certainly needed this. Love it.

In Walibi the staff is always very polite to let you up in the fron car if you want, I've never been on an extremely busy days, but they even let you join the 'they obviously asked too' gang in the front row even if there are already 6 cycles there in front of you :p Don't be afraid to ask, all day long people! They are all darlings! (Don't ask if you're in single rider though, they will feel personally attacked :p)

Walibi parks are shaping up to be amazing parks with all the additions anf theming in the last few yrs.

It’s not at Disneyland Paris
If you think about it. The only dutch theme park that can take the benelux record of tallest an fastest coaster is toverland. Most parks can't afford it. Efteling doesn't have the room, nor the hight restrictions to build such a coaster. And walibi holland most likely won't build a giga coaster. Nor wouldn't I be surprised if they aren't allowed to retake the title

Walibi Holland needs something like Tiki Waka. It's advertising itself as a family park more and more, but the only family coaster they have is the old Zierer. Something to bridge the gap between that and the extreme coasters would be very welcome. Walibi Belgium is on the right track, shame about the flood damage. Also: How much would you bet on RMC Werewolf in the coming decade?

The highlight of this trip has to be the funny place
How come all the TopSpin flat-rides are disappearing or are in really poor condition?! Can’t Huss improve them or do something to them? It’s just such a shame to see them all breaking down or in really poor condition. Removing Ripsaw at Alton Towers has left a hole in my heart it was the first ever flat ride I ever went on.
It’s sad to see them go!
You might as well get to the States right at November 1st. That's when the travel restrictions are no more. You can finally go see what disney has done for the last year ok maybe two. Universal is a bit different now. During the pandemic the construction never stopped just a day or two delay but the roads were redone and new stuff was put in. Japan held off on anything because they have this habit of stamping a family crest as a defacto signature. Its a struggle to get anything done in japan if its not cash upfront. seriously think about November 1st as it could your chance to come back to the states for a while.
Very excited to get back to the USA!
I vote for a coaster count update, if you ride 1 Vekoma SLC or Boomerang, you automatically get the credit for all of them in the world. Nobody should have to ride them all for the lousy credit!! One and done! ;-)

I've also been on Kondaa and it's so true that it warms up. It was a little overhyped by enthusiasts imo and it didn't meet those high expectations but it certainly is a fantastic ride and it's my n1 coaster in Belgium (haven't ridden rth). Also Loup Garou has been awful all year long. Last time that I rode it (May 2021) it was horrible. I hated it.

went 3 weeks ago, exept the woodie and the slc the park offers great rides. and really clean. Konda is now by far my number 1 . got the i survided kondaa tshirt :)
