I think the devs were trying to go for a different style with the EN livestream by using humor and adding the VA / CC as way to connect with people, but honestly, it felt weird. But this is their first livestream, so they can learn from it.

Sub-stats range have been adjusted. for Example: Old- Crit Rate 3.5%-14% New- Crit Rate 6% - 10% (Average role 8%) Enemies around the openworld have been increased. Echoes selector have been added into event rewards. (Allegedly works similar to self-modeling resin in HSR) Tecet field now gives double rewards for the first 3 runs everyday.
Thanks for the wrap-up! I didn't mind the EN livestream, but the new content shown in the CN livestream should've also been present in EN. I don't like their approach in making each livestream completely different from one another. Hopefully, they'll listen to the criticism and improve their livestreams in the future.

So we got the Merciful One in WuWa in the form of Changli, Hyperreal Lee got lost again and wandered into the world of WuWa somehow, we got a new CUB/side-kick able to eat and absorb Tacet discords, and a rather… mixed EN livestream lol. While it was definitely awkward to watch, I think if they handled it a bit better and left these kinds of things post-stream, it would have made for a fun, laid-back experience where the content creators and fans could just chill out and have some light-hearted fun with each other. At least Kuro learned their lesson from this and will plan accordingly for next time. Also… I can’t believe Rexlent made me question my sexuality with his cosplay lol.
Kinda doubtful that Changli is the Merciful One counterpart of WuWa. Even so, maybe she's made playable this early so the devs could trick us for later part in the story....

My god the Crownless figure merch looks *absolutely terrifying* I can't wait to see more of WW Boss design because they really took some reference from MH and Souls-series that had great Monsters design from cool-looking to beautifully horrific, even their mech enemy in PGR look more original than Nier Automata which is their favorite game

i'm one of the few who didn't mind the EN livestream, it was a good break from the dozens of guides, tier lists, and "drama" videos for a while now. having said that i also wouldn't mind if we just got the translated CN stream, but i guess some people will complain that EN always gets ignored and only get scraps 🤷♂️. if WW next livestream they need someone to voiceover, i hope they get Lina to do it. you guys have been around since PGR, it would be nice if you get included at some point.

I never understand why they don't just do a single big live stream in CN and just translate that. It's for global launch, it's supposed to be big with all the juicy info by dev. The global stream feels like it's a tiny update stream with all the mini games. It also left out quite a lot of details too.

Sadly this kind of makes sense. Gacha has never been a market made for NA hell we're lucky we even get some of these sometimes since Gacha is one of if not the least popular Genre in NA. What they did definitely was done to appeal to a younger less patient audiance that was pretty much raised by TikTok rather then the Gacha fanbase to try and boost Na's numbers.
The EN stream was a huge miss, they could have either gone with the CN route and just translate it with English subtitles or do what Honkai star rail does and use in game avatars to talk about the game. The stream wouldn’t have been as bad if they gave more info and less mini games for ice breakers. Hope they learn that players want to see game info and less weird interactions like these.
