I swear I saw a wind tunnel testing article where the sl8 was just mid pack of 20 odd bikes. Factor #1 foil#2 s5#3 and sl8 number 8 maybe. Also tested slower by maybe 5w in the wind tunnel with a torso mannequin ?
For me, this could be a nice racing aero bike, but definitely not the bike that I want to buy. Maybe I'm old fashioned, I'm only attracted to the V4RS or SL8 shape bikes. And my top 1 aero bike would be the new Factor Ostro VAM :)

@@tommyfreckmann6857? The SL7 is probably 1-2 mph. It's lower, lighter, and it's more aero. I do run Enve 4.5s on the C60 and that made a huge difference, but of course I'm running aero wheels (Ninevelo 45s) on the SL7 so that's a draw. And, it's just easier to go faster.
When it comes to people wanting the aero look it just makes sense. The same way people want the round tube, double triangle look. It's just what people like with their eyes, and we all know everyone shops with their eyes and their hearts, not with their brains. Personally I'm not a fan of the traditional aero bike look like the Aeroad or Venge, but I do like bikes like the 7th gen Madone, S5, or this Colnago. I like a little spice with it. I also think traditional round tubes are just ok. Most look boring, some look really nice.
It's a Venge Vias but no worries. New Venge on approach for sure! The looks of the SL8 were a huge let down, super boring aesthetically even the color selections, plus still believe adding the integrated cockpit on the Venge makes it the fastest again plus the added weight yields an inertial advantage in every condition except up hill and more conducive to a low cadence aero riding style, and very few of the riders I know actually want to climb all day, so bring on the big rings and deep sections please pretty please, Colnago salute
