For my nighttime "sweet snack" I eat 160g of frozen berries mixed with 60g of 2% greek yogurt, 60g of 2% cottage cheese, 4g ground flax seed and one packet of splenda. I learned the yogurt/cottage cheese combination from you, Terrbear. 😁👍
@@terrileist I just mix it up, I don't blend it. I make it up after dinner and put in the frig. I eat it sometime between 7 and 8. That gives the fruit a little time to thaw but stay nice and cold. I like the creamy cottage cheese & yogurt with the chunks of fruits. I used to switch it back and forth between cottage cheese or yogurt until that video when you had them mixed together for breakfast. Brilliant! My favorite mix is sliced strawberries, blueberries, cherries. Sometimes I add sliced bananas. When I finish with this bag of ground flax seed, I'm going to get that bag of chia seeds, hemp hearts and flax seed that you bought. I checked online and my Walmart carries it also.
That looks so good! I bought one of those fancy ninja creamy and decided it looked like to much work. I returned it unopened. Now that looks like something I could do. Thanks Terri!
Hello, Terri..😊 The keto chow ice cream looks so delicious. Saves on calories and carbs, too.😁👍 Great, tasty treat..Thank you so much, for sharing. Have a wonderful church and Judy day..❤ I watched some of your church this morning. Loved the msg.. God bless!😊🙏
Hi pretty Terri…good for you making keto chow a low cal/fat dessert I had keto chow couldn’t stomach so much fat even though that’s how it’s designed and people wonder why there not losing weight..awesome job Terri
lol yeah, I understand that’s how it’s made, but thankfully I get fat with my meal, and since it’s not a meal replacement it’s not bad. Salty as heck, but it’s yummy lol. Have a fabulous evening
I haven't tried this in a freezer situation yet but it works like a dream for oven custard. Rather than spraying the bowls with spray, I spray a paper towel with the cooking spray and then run the sprayed towel around in the dish. It leaves just a tiny bit of "slickness" without being sprayed heavily. You can't even see it in the dish. Maybe that would work for your ice cream too.
Thanks for directing me ro your video about Cottage Cheese ice cream. I definitely didn’t stir it up as suggested & I used different ingredients (no milk but tsp sf pudding mix) and I see no icy texture in yours. I’ll try again, especially since I hadn’t heard that Keto Chow has a salty taste to it. I’m a real newbie & can only handle 1/2 pkt of electrolytes at a time, lol. Thanks, Terri 😊
Happy to share. Let me know what you think. A kind follower sent me a lot of keto chow so I have been working to find fun ways to use it and this is what started me on my creami journey lol
It’s salty, be warned but the salty keeps me from having cravings it seems Venmo…I do, I never thought of that. Let me see my account name Terri-LL emailing terrileist@gmail.com Hope that helps!
Orange Cream is My 2nd favorite KC for Ice Cream....my absolute favorite was Root beer. However unfortunately it was discontinued. Banana is nice too...I always add a little drop of banana flavor drops to up the flavor strength. I have also enjoyed their Chocolate Peanut butter, and Butterscotch. The reason they say to add water is mostly because the less water you use the saltier it tastes. You will find flavors you don't like. I tried the Raspberry Cheesecake and couldn't even swallow it without wanting to bring it back up! lol yet so many people love it! I'm glad you are having fun with it. Its a very healthy option. I can understand why you might find it's easier to do this method than using the little ice cream maker. I tried using a regular ice cream maker before I got the Ninja Creami. I found the regular ice cream make a pain in the butt. I get that many people don't want to put out the big $ for the Creami, but I am glad I did because it is even easier than this cottage cheese method and I only need water if I want even lower calories and it still comes out super creamy. Thanks for sharing this idea....If I am ever somewhere away from home ( and my Creami) and want to make Protein Ice Cream this would be a great back up!
With the creami, how much does it make? You just use powder and water or powder and milk and that’s all? It would be easier that way, but what I don’t like about the dash is that when I refreeze it, it becomes a block of ice. The cottage cheese doesn’t seem to do it, well it does but after I nuke it 30 seconds it’s fine, but the dash is sooooooo watery. Things to think about, and I’m glad you have one. You k ow me well enough to know if I’d like it or not. Just the powder and milk would be easier. Today I used 3 packets and 3 servings of cottage cheese and 3 of milk and made 6, for the upcoming week. I really should watch some videos of the creami, but if it’s as tedious and watery as the dash, I’m not sure I’d like it. Ugh I’m soooooo bad at change lol
Now you have me watching TH-cam videos about the ninja creami lol I see how it works, but I see they are using the machine the night they eat it. Can it be frozen into a few portions after it’s been spun? If so, do they stay in that spun texture or does it go back to the ice like texture? I have soooo many questions lol
@@terrileist I use just water normally, but I will try it with the Fair life milk and let you know. I am going to try it with some yogurt also to see if it makes a frozen yogurt ..not sure I have ever tried that so ...why not :)
@@terrileist I make 1 keto chow shake with just water...then split it into smaller portions before I freeze it. You will need the containers that go with the machine to make multiple portions. It goes rock hard when you refreeze it. I have made a batch and put it all in the one container only, eaten half, and then stuck it back in the freezer. It refreezes rock hard. You then need to re spin it smooth again. It doesn't get icy..but it does get rock hard
Let me know how it works!! I like my dash, but it doesn’t freeze very hard and I don’t have an ice maker so I can’t buy a real ice cream maker or I’d have to buy ice and I’m too lazy for all that lol.
I'm new to Keto Chow. Am first hearing about it on your channel. How did you start purchasing it? Do I need to sign up or be a member to Keto Chow? Can I buy what I want. Can you talk a little bit about Keto Chow? Thanks.
I can’t lie, I have never bought anything from keto chow. I have received a nice sample from 1 person and this large selection from another person. I know they have a website. Keto people like it because it has electrolytes and low carb. It has a lot of variety flavor options. Will I buy it when it’s gone? Maybe some of the savory ones, but probably will just use my fave one from Walmart-isopure
Hey, I want to order that keto chow, is it really good? I am really picky on proteiny things. Fairlife are the only protein shakes I like. If keto chow tastes like premier shakes, it’s a no go for me. What do you think?
It is very salty. I think since it’s keto they have a lot of electrolytes in it. More than my isopure. I like the taste, I wonder if there is a way to just buy a couple packs?
My hands are hurting watching you stir those up. 😂 I have such sensitive hands to cold.
Ha! It was very colddddddd 😶🌫️🥶😶🌫️🥶

Hi, big thumbs up 29...Yum...Ice cream...looks delicious...Happy Thursday...
Thank you! It was good, salty, but I like salty lol
I use the fairlife whole milk. Not a fan of cottage cheese, but I will try it for this recipe. Well, here goes. Wish me luck:)
Let me know your thoughts. I read some people have to add vanilla because it’s salty, and some have to add extra sweetener.
Thanks for the macros and ice cream for the win...
It’s yummmmm
Awesome terri😅
Thank you!!
Thank you so much for this recipe ❤
