Thanks for the update Brent. As a person who has never travelled outside of the US, it's giving me anxiety thinking about all the steps one has to take to do it. I guess you just have to jump in and deal with it as it comes. Great vid.
As a solo traveler, that is exactly what you have to do. I’m confined to a wheelchair and that alone complicates to a large extent. But it is worthwhile, It just is not that difficult. It’s only a little scary the first time and become a bit routine. From Hua Hin Thailand
I personally appreciate Japan more. Cleaner, great exchange rate, absolutely no tipping. The beer tastes better. My wife’s Japanese so maybe I’m biased.
Japan is great. I love it there. As you say, everyone minds their own business and follows the rules. Also, being in an age gap relationship no one stares at you like they do in other countries. The trains and subways are incredibly efficient and the people are polite and welcoming. The food quality and options are the best in the world in my opinion. Recently spent 2 weeks there with my Filipina girlfriend and enjoyed it immensely. What struck me upon returning to the Phils was getting the stares again😂 and personal space and privacy are not on the table. Having said that, I still love the Phils. Japan is great for a vacation but not a place I would choose to live.
I heard everything in Japan is expensive, specially the food and Hotels, I also heard in Thailand everything is cheap/Affordable, I wanna go in Thailand someday that's one of my dreams...😊
I stayed in a Japanese hotel in Okinawa about 20yrs ago and we didnt see one human face, just a voice saying what room #. You go to the room, you put your money inside of a clear "capsule" and there is a clear pipe you put the capsule in and air sucks it all the way to some desk somewhere...lol
If you had maybe a 2 day layover then take the Narita Express into Tokyo for the day. It’s a bit hectic but you only need to use the Yamanote line to get around which is a loop and takes you to most of the tourist spots. The Onsen is fully naked but segregated M/F. It’s a great experience. Tattoos are usually only a problem if it’s neck to wrist. In Japan only gangsters have them.
Had an interesting experience in Tokyo airport. Put my wife in a wheelchair transfer in the airport, the Japanese guy that wheeled the wheelchair for my wife was so kind and friendly that I gave him a $20 tip. He huged me for giving him the tip. My 2 cents.😊 Take care and keepp chillinng...
Hey Brent, I have a question. Since you left the airport to go to your hotel room do you need to have a visa or do just give you visa on arrival? Just curious. Thanks for sharing
How's the restroom situation when you're flying overseas like that? If you have to pass Every other hour. Do they bang on the door and tell you to hurry up
They have the suicide forest just outside Tokyo. These people killed themselves for the littlest mistake . Crazy place . I can't go to the onsan because I have one little tattoo . Wtf .
A unkempt fat old clown approached my girl in line at the pharmacy line at LP Hypermart a few days ago. She wasted no time telling him, "She my ring? GO AWAY!" 😂😂😂😂

That's why Aokigahara Forest is dubbed Suicide Forest there, kinda sad actually.
Great video and interesting to hear your observations comparing the 2 countries/cultures.
Put down the hello Kitty😂😂😂😂. Peace ☮️
I like to say hello to the Kitty 🐱 but maybe 🤔 we are thinking differently in the west 😂

Happy Travels Brent and thanks for sharing your observations on Japan 🇯🇵 I’m thinking of transferring there or in Korea, will depend on the cost 💲 😊
Another great informative vid. I have a feeling the Japanese get it a little more loose when alcohol is involved 😊
Thank you
@brentstrippin8867 btw, my second wife is from Lonewolf. I spent some time there visiting often.

To many humans on the planet, we are very tribal.
Happy for you.

Yen to USD fluctuates, but just drop 2 zeros off the bill/coin. Y1000 = 10 USD. Roughly. 7/11 ATMs are safe for debit/ATM cards.
¥1000 = $6.40 USD
You coming back to Valencia

I suppose traveling around Asia, you must feel younger and more alive.
