You are genius! Do you have any video about asking for independent education evaluation from my school district. I wanted to write or ask them to pay for it but not aware of the process.

May I ask how to get teachers on board. In highschool even the ICT special education teacher doesn't seem interested...

Tawana, doesn't seem interested in looking further into a BIP... or doesn't feel it's necessary based on their assessment of your child?

If your child has behavioral issues you need to speak up in the iep. Ask for a qualified board certified behavioralist to analyze, create the bip and train the staff on their bip. Don't let them suggest the sped teacher or counselor to do it, they may not be qualified enough. Most districts have a contract with a bcba or you can insist they get one.
