Nice! The production co I work for 16 x HDLA-6 and honestly serious value for money. Out of interest how far from the stage were you at 1:40 sounded great.
Great question. I don’t honestly know the answer to that. One of my networking partners does corporate audio in arenas/stadium’s throughout the county. They run 12 hdl26a per side and he said they muted the house feed one day and the 12 a side filled the entire arena. That said, 9 a side will cover a lot. I have an event with 10 26a per side booked covering a crowd of 6,000 people.. This video was the 6a’s not the 26a’s but they are both great. Hope that helps.
@@dannyaudiohead thanks for answering, i have been listening to 6 hdl20 per side and it covered 5000 people on open field, it was good sound so i tought 9 hdl6 per side could cover maybe 7000 people which is amazing, but nobody has that system over here, so if anybody knows what is the coverage of this system please answer i am interested in buying 16 hdl6. Thanks.
@@dannyaudiohead i am curently working with dynacord speakers and i covered 5000 people with 4 cobra2 tops per side it worked amazing, so when i compare specs of those speakers i think 8 hdl6 per side should be able to cover audience of 6000 or 7000 people no problem, but i would love to hear someone experienced with hdl6.
Just did my first show with 12 total that I hit the limit lights with the floor tom, it was a huge venue, but I would like to add 4 more

For the size the 6’s sound sweet
I agree 👍
With 9 tops per side, how big event could you do, for how many people?

How did you hook up the HDL6A? Both power and signal. Just daisy chain?
have you used the RCF TTL33a?
Not yet, but my buddy has 14 of them and I hope to do a show with them at some point.
157 db per side ... push very good for a small modul cabinet...impressive!!! I think 8 subwoofers 9006 or 9007 would have been better.
No doubt about it! I recently worked with the 9006s stacked and they coupled great. You could feel the punch from far away….
how many dual 18 inch subs were there?
8 dual 18s
@@dannyaudiohead are they rcf sub 9006 as?
@@carlotheatheist no sir I believe they were McCauley dual 18’s
Any issues with headroom?
No issues on this act. I had a decent amount of headroom..
Subs?
We had 8 dual 18s. I need to ask the production company about the make/model. I just remember that the subs were not RCF.
