My husband has Parkinson’s and I wonder if it is possible he got it from working in the feed yards in Texas years ago. How would one go about finding out? And if there is anything that can be done.
@1964Potter yeah, I'd also suggest ridding your home of all pfas materials. Non stick cookware, astroturf, any furniture sprayed with any product like Scotch Guard, flame retardant or flame resistant clothing and camping gear. Also learn about chemical GenX by Chemours. "Exposure to PFAS can also result in Parkinson's disease, as they enhance oxidative stress, which has a significant association with the disorder. More specifically, PFOS was discovered to cause dopaminergic neuropathology, a process that ultimately leads to Parkinson's disease."
@@wordswords2094 I will absolutely have them get bloodwork at his MRI at Northwestern Medical in downtown Chicago this next week! I will gladly share that information.
I used paraquat a lot on the farm some 20 years ago,I nicknamed it agent blue, because of its color back then! It’s a contact weed killer so it doesn’t kill the roots like Roundup. The names have all changed ever since I applied it!
For those seeking to ban glyphosate, paraquat is the primary alternative. And despite the many precautions in place for its use, it is still one of the most dangerous products in ag. Its use is not overly widespread and the drift as portrayed in this video is highly unlikely for multiple reasons, however its use could increase in areas where glyphosate use becomes more restrictive.
Indeed. Well aware of that, thats why I'm here. Only fools use a biased corrupted search engine. Perhaps that is why you commented as you did. Have a nice day.
