I know exactly what you mean, i had the same experience with Bully when i first played it, i got locked in one of the tents at the carnival thing with the minigames in the clown head i think it was, and wasn't able to exit out of the door so i couldn't progress, i'm pretty sure i ended up just not playing it again until years later where i finally finished it
Kingdom hearts was another one, i found sephiroth who was a secret boss kinda thing right before the last boss and building, pretty sure i did the same thing - i spent like a week straight trying to beat him at a much lower level than i should have been trying to fight him and just couldn't do it and ended up quitting, given i could have left at any time i was just too stubborn to, i ended up beating the game years later but i don't think i ever tried that sephiroth fight again xD straight up ptsd
(For context if you've never played Kingdom hearts, you have to be like level 99 or be extremely good at the game to beat this boss, i was like 10 so i was neither and not willing to level up, so i ended up dropping the game at like level 45 and never beat the last boss of the game/finishing it)

How does this look better than Gotham Knights? Both have good combat, but Gotham Knights is more complex. Who wouldn't get with Harley? All of the Arkham games, Marvel's Spider-Man, and Gotham Knights are great superhero games
