    Insightful ! One thing I don't agree is getting an influencer to get a interview call. I can certainly I have no influencer in companies like cisco, oracle, google etc. Still I get someone talking to me at the moment. This is not about pure luck, But make sure your resume and cover letter speaks for you, believe that you are worthy enough to get a job in tech companies. All the best and Good luck !

    How important networking is at big Tech/FAANG, heard from few current top MBA students , referall or networking at FAANG isn't that useful?

    Is it a good move to switch from solutions architect role to product manager role?

      Hi Rishab, I don’t see why not :)
      If you want to be a PM you have experience (from solutions architect) on the technical side, now you’ll need to try and interact more with customers to get that experience as well.
      As you can imagine, both roles are incredibly different (pm vs solutions architect). Have you thought about WHY you would like to be a PM?
