The Golf R fanboys are going to be drooling over this! RWD, 440 BHP stage 1 and all that noise - one of the best hatchbacks money can buy, the B58 engine will go down in history as an absolute classic. 3.0 6cyl hatchbacks will be sorely missed!

I've been looking at an m140i for a daily drive and you're persuading me more and more each time man.
ive got a m2 comp... i used to have a m240i, i still miss the b58 great engine... i would rebuy a m140i as you said for the money you cant beat it...
Sold mine for an fl 8v rs3 but would 100% get another m140i
LSD definitely one of the best mods for the car , one of the first mods I did to my M135i lci I put a quaife LSD on mine .👍

Mashallah hamza beast goes hard on a stage 1 !!! I got mine full stage 2 downpipe, charge pipe, intake etc BUT main thing get the xHP stage 3 gearbox tune that was the biggest difference for me it tightens the gear changes by like 30% shifts as quick as a DSG seriously check it out
Absolutely loving this project and your videos! I’d love to see 0-60mph and 100-200 times at each stage to see the differences. This would also help ppl decide what they’re missing out on haha...

The subframe mount upgrade looks like a worthwhile thing to do while the diff is out.
mines mapped to 411bhp, and with the open diff, it's a bit of a beast, all over the place hahah....
I haven't put a diff on mine but the biggest issue I had was the ride, stock and on springs. Any imperfections, its that bouncy, I class it as dangerous. I would STRONGLY advise owners to change dampers along with the springs while you're there. Loving the quick progress Masha'Allah, seems like you're targeting all the known compromises!

Fitting an MP LSD to mine, 2K is hard to stomach cost wise though 😂
Already has B12 kit on it and res delete/modified backbox exhaust.

@@TRHamza Had mine done by Ash’s team at Regal including M4 LCA kit, big shout out to them. First class service. Evolve have done most of the other bits on my car, also big shout out to them, top service all round!
If your considering an aftermarket exhaust solution in future and you dont want anything too lairy I'd highly recommend the BCS Powervalve boost actuated system it's the best set up out there for subtleness and when you want it sound! I have a 100cell sport cat that flows as much as a decat does, non res mid section and the valved rear section with 90mm tails..In comfort or eco it sounds eerily quiet normal driving....soon as you step on it in DSC off particularly the whole thing wakes up it's an immense bit of kit, and best of all it is MOT compliant. 🙌🏾

I'm esp interested in this BMW build of yours. Ok so I just took delivery of a 2021 M135i, sadly a 2.0 litre 4pot so the sound nowhere close to the M140i, be that as it may, can this Wavetrac LSD be fitted to my car or is it just for the older models? Also when u doin a review on the M135i?

I think they left it with out on purpose to make it more forgiven for the lesser drivers but really should of come from factory like that completes the car enjoy man

I'm now on the fence about geting a lsd for my 140, mines still in warranty so held back on drive train mods for now an I dont want the mperformance diff as you have to service it far too often.

You really dont its a complete internet myth. They dont even wear out like the internet would have you believe.
The actual diff is supposed to be sealed for life, you can do an oil change every 30k if you want, all you do is remove plug, suck the old oil out and push fresh in, easy peasy.
They sell for a good chunk 2nd hand too if you ever sell the car.
so i have a m135i with the M Performance pack.. carbon and exhaust. So a basic stage 1 and diff will transform the car you reckon?

Having the axle built does save labour time when the car comes in but aren't they technically working for free when they do assemble it to put into stock?

LSD is a must for any RWD, shame bmw stopped putting them in non-M cars. They used to be optional package in e30 and e36..

What would you say about quaife lsd? Are they any good? Compared to the wavetrac.
Williams Performance do a HP70 ZF8 upgrade for M140i. It can handle much more torque than the stock ZF8 in the M140i. You going big power so try and have a look.
Never seen one of these with an M2 comp front end🤔🤣
