I think they more or less exist under different universes. The only reason why welt managed to cross is because of void archive. And there's no way that Ho-oh the equilibrium would "fear" anything Aeons embody the very path they follow they don't feel concepts such as fear the moment they ascend. IX won't care, Terminus just roams timelines freely watching it get destroyed before moving to the other. As for why Aeons don't feel fear, remember the Voracity? (It technically ate itself) IX doesn't feel anything. Aha will laugh it off, Nous is a machine. So the context of them "fearing" earth is quite unlikely more like they are unable to because it's in a different universe and as you said the unstable Imaginary element surrounding earth. And technically Ho-oh already merged with the "Imaginary Tree" maintaining the balance of the universe. And Aeons can freely draw power from the imaginary tree itself.

Anyone who complains about GGZ winning against other Hoyoverse game power level wise definitely didn't play the game/doesn't know what that game's story is(I'm not saying it's you, I just have seen comments here and there saying Aeons are at the level of outer gods lol) In GGZ, beating up Herrscher of the End is like a normal chore and Herrscher of the End can obliterate multiple universes with one attack and that Herrscher of the end is currently the most powerful being in HI3rd which is leagues above Aeons. The strongest beings in GGZ are Ling Yiniang who's basically author level and Yog Sothoth who can just quite literally chop down the imaginary tree that holds Hoyoverse's infinite universes. @Trixeee well, we don't know what full strength of aeon looks like, but from what already was stated, I'd say it's far more powerful than Kevin or other bearers of Authority of Finality. Lan can shatter stars and turn planets into wastelands with single shot. IX literally absorbs planets in his art and apparently Oroboros can do this too. We don't know much about Nanook abilities but he was called strongest/most dangerous aeon currently so he is definitely not weaker than previous ones + as far as I understand he burned his entire star system when he ascended. Kevin is probably on the level of strong emanator but not higher. And I don't think that Cocoon of Finality actually gives you every ability of Aeon of Finality.

@Trixeee well, we don't know what full strength of aeon looks like, but from what already was stated, I'd say it's far more powerful than Kevin or other bearers of Authority of Finality. Lan can shatter stars and turn planets into wastelands with single shot. IX literally absorbs planets in his art and apparently Oroboros can do this too. We don't know much about Nanook abilities but he was called strongest/most dangerous aeon currently so he is definitely not weaker than previous ones + as far as I understand he burned his entire star system when he ascended.
Kevin is probably on the level of strong emanator but not higher. And I don't think that Cocoon of Finality actually gives you every ability of Aeon of Finality.
