I appreciate you not making Vashtorr look overly rusty. If I understand his lore correctly, his machinery and metal creations would be well taken cared of. Something the Mechanicus would envy or…be lured in by.

many of us have been searching for wardog kits for months and man is out there cutting them up. and it looks damn amazing!

The use of oils for the skin was superb! It's just so unique, and I will use that for my chaos army!
I love oils... with a bit of practice they are just an incredible way to add detail. its more forgiving!

The real amazing thing about this build is the fact that you got your hands on a wardog.
I've been sat on this one wardog for a year!! It's been waiting to be built.
I love it, absolutely LOVE IT. Vashtorr is one of my top 5 favorite characters in the 40K verse and I really hope he is more relevant in the future. my ONLY take on it is i feel it would’ve been more fitting to give him a very large double sided mallet. Like a daemonic version of a dwarven hammer.(I agree his original hammer is a bit underwhelming and wouldn’t go well with your sick design) but a hammer would fit him better than a flail, given he is the forger of souls and creates gigantic daemon engines. That’s just my take though it’s your custom piece, only in my imagination could I make something like this!

Great work! Would you mind sharing what brushes brand do you use for the oils? The one that is shown on the video for the true metals looks like Army painter´s but is it? I´ve heard that the mineral spirits tend to ruin the natural brushes

Vashtorr is a very hit and miss character... It would seem he is a significant entity, but somehow he isn't? But I do hope you at least like this version of him!
