JK is a prodigy Jack of all trades with near perfect pitch...I mean he didn't gain the title of The Golden Maknae(means youngest )for no reason This video it's quite old tho there has to be a newer one... Fun fact Suga used to get JK to do the vocal guides when producing a song and the company suggested that he didn't do that because it would make the other artists feel stressed and intimidated... Even Kim Jong Wan (from the band NELL, iconic group been around forever) said he felt like he wouldn't be able to sing as well as JK did in the guides when working with Suga on his solo Album

Jimin has one but Jk also has a black belt in Taekwondo. Jungkook is the fastest runner of the group. That is why he is always the anchor in relays. He is also the muscle man of the group. His boxing coach said he could be a pro boxer if he really wanted to. Jimin is muscular too, but is smaller in stature.

@@1badlibrarianHe has a “Poom” belt. Highest level you can attain under 15 years of age. Equivalent of a black belt but junior level. He acquired it before joining Big Hit at 13 years old. You have to be over 15 to acquire a black belt. Jin also has a black belt. If JK continued Taekwondo, there’s no question he could be a black belt if he chooses.
@@1badlibrarianJungkook said he was poom bc he was rejected for his age. Poom is the highest black belt under 15. Jungkook confirmed in his live that he's achieved black belt but there's an age requirement of 16 to be a full pledged black belter so he was rejected

This video is 6 years old, and doesn’t really show the true golden maknae of Jungkook. He is definitely the most versatile member I would say. Jimin is very athletic and does everything with grace where JK is determined and applies himself fully. There is a competition called Idol Star Athletics which has been going since 2010. BTS competed 2014-2017 and won the relay race 3 times. In 2017, think they decided to have fun with the race and RM competed, who is not known for his athleticism. 😅 In their first relay race the commentators were hilarious as BTS wasn’t expected to win.
You should watch 'An introduction to Jeon JungKook', 'JungKook the main vocalist of BTS' and 'JungKook the Golden Maknae' by Ida S. What you have watched in this vedio that is very little things.
Seriously. JK is the epitome of “everything.” He excels at everything, because he is SUPER competitive. He is the youngest. He wanted to match and/or exceed his hyungs.
that's the wrong attitude to have about jk... jk wants to excel in everything he is interested in cuz he is a perfectionist... not to match or exceed his hyungs.. in many things he was/is already better than the hyungs.... in all the things ARMYS say he is competitive, are actually competitions, whether it is run bts or isac or anything else. aren't his hyungs as well as other participants competing...
This is a bad take. You think him having perfect pitch, making beautiful realistic paintings and excelling in taekwondo and boxing and other sports are him being competitive when there’s no match for him in the first place? He’s always been above average when he starts something and he’s also the one that shows the fastest progress/growth among all due to his talent and hard work.

That look Jungkook gave the camera after arm wrestling is hilarious and the dance after Cham Cham Cham is classic. There is so much more to each member besides their singing. All of them are so gifted in so many ways.
It was Korean wrestling (Ssireum in Korean). JK has good techniques. The one game they played I know as "Cham cham cham" in which one person is "it" and on the third "cham" they randomly pick a direction (left, right, up, down). If you manage to move your head the other way you win. If you follow the hand/pointer, you lose. JImin is pushing inward and JK the other way. JK won. Before they started J-Hope said "I've been waitng for this for 20 years." JK is competitive and multitalented for sure. Great reaction!

Talent with a capital T! He is a great hard worker, a perfectionist in everything.
Even if initially he doesn’t know or can’t do something, he will train and work for many hours and days until he does it and achieves the highest result. As he himself says: “I want to be the first and the best in everything and everywhere.” And he succeeds!
He also: practices boxing, plays several musical instruments, draws beautifully - his paintings are masterpieces, dances wonderfully, takes photographs, shoots videos and performs them himself, has a unique ear - without knowing the notes, he can accurately reproduce a melody that he hears with closed eyes, cooks very well, can come up with clothing designs himself, plays any game with dexterity, both computer and sports and wins, knows Japanese and speaks it fluently (like all BTS members) and already speaks English quite well!
Well, there’s nothing to even say about the vocals - they’re amazing!💜
JK the golden maknae for a reason
The k-pop groups have these olympic type competitions once in a while. There are lots of clips, everyone warming up, relays, wrestling, gymnastics (Jimin), basketball (Suga), plus Run BTS has games like bowling. JK is also a wonderful artist - drawing and painting. He's on his way to becoming a great cook, and he seems to be able to fix anything. He works out obsessively. From boot camp he wrote us to say he is cleaning "all the way up to the ceiling". I can just imagine.
In one of my favorite run bts eps theyre at a lake water park thing with an inflatable obstacle course and they give up on team vs team and just do jungkook vs everyone else lol.

Kookie is their baby and the older members have spoiled him shockingly - he's been their little brother since he left home at 14 to move to Seoul, and he's now 26 - so they're lucky he's so sweet-tempered and playful. He's heavier and stronger than any of the others, and he's good at nearly everything he does, which is why he's "golden."
The track and field clips are from ISAC, the Idol Star Athletics Championships, which have been held in Korea since 2010. Idols (that's what Koreans call K-pop artists) compete in Olympic-style events. (They skipped it last year to avoid conflict with the Asian Games.) BTS hasn't competed since 2017 - they've been a little busy conquering the world - but in their last three games they won the 400m relay with Jimin as their starting runner and JK as their anchor runner.
The wrestling matches aren't Japanese sumo; they're Korean ssireum, a traditional sport.
It's common for children in Korea to take a few lessons in taekwondo; it's often considered Korea's national sport. Jimin has a black belt, but JK has the belt rank just below it, and Suga has the rank just below JK's.
Cham cham cham is a common game in Korea, and the Bangtans play it on their variety show, Run BTS!, all the time (along with rock-paper-scissors; they're the official ambassadors of the World Rock Paper Scissors Association). It's a simple game: you point in a direction and if the other player moves their head in the same direction, you win. If they move it in a different direction, they win.
BTS plays a lot of traditional Korean games on their variety show. There are 165 episodes including the special anniversary episodes and the intro episode. They filmed Run BTS! from 2015 to late 2022 before Jin enlisted, and they promised to resume after they're all discharged from the military. Korean variety shows are a form of entertainment we don't really have in the U.S., but basically the idea is that a bunch of charming, funny people play silly games for prizes. BTS usually plays for snacks and toys. It's clean, wholesome fun - it's appropriate even for your little daughter - and it's one of the ways you can learn about each member's personality and how they fit within the group.
A lot of the other clips are from Bangtan Bombs and BTS Episodes, short form videos released on their official TH-cam channel, BangtanTV. BTS are probably the most recorded East Asians in the world; from their variety show to their travel series ('Bon Voyage') and their vacation series ('In the SOOP'); old stuff like 'Rookie King' and 'American Hustle Life' and all of their behind the scenes footage, there's an enormous amount of content in which they appear. And that's not counting their archived livestreams, where they simply pull out a phone and turn it on and livestream whatever they're doing. JK famously did a livestream where he fell asleep and 6 million people watched him snore away on his bed for 45 minutes. (Jimmy Fallon even asked him about it.)

Famous story about the wrestling matches at ISAC. An MC asked one of the other idols who he thought he could take in a wrestling match and the guy answered "Jin of BTS." You could tell that the answer pissed off JK so when he later wrestled that guy, JK took him down very quickly and smirked after with a sort of "That will teach you to trash talk my hyung" attitude.

RM gave him the name Gooden Maknae (means youngest) and he has lived up to that name and probably even surpassed it. He is literally good at everything and if there’s something he’s not good at, he will keep trying until he is. He’s also just naturally gifted with physical abilities and athleticism, musical talents such as perfect pitch and artistic abilities as he’s quite a talented painter. The other thing about him that makes all of this even more amazing is because he’s so humble and shy where he doesn’t even bring a lot of attention to himself. He’s really a super star

6:04 the game is called Cham Cham Cham and the one with the pointing stick or finger is the “attacker” & the other person is the “defender” - the goal is for the defender to move their head in any other direction other than the one the attacker is pointing to
In one of ISAC games, an older member from another Kpop group talked smack about Jin right before their wrestling match. Unfortunately, for that other guy, JK was was going to be wrestling him next.
When the other idol said that about Jin, Jungkook's face turned to stone and he looked at the other idol like 'i'm gonna eff you up', which he did.
Typically, the idols will help each other up off the mat once the round is done. But after Jungkook beat that smack-talking idol, he just walked away from the mat while the other idol was still down. The disrespect!! I loved it.

The scene of racing, wrestling, archery 🏹 is from Idol Olympics. There are compilation videos showing BTS vs other idols in competition. BTS kept winning so they were eventually barred from attending anymore.
If I remember correctly they stopped have the Olympics a year or two after BTS could no longer attend because the other idols kept getting hurt and unable to perform afterwards.

The races, archery, traditional Korean wrestling etc are from the ISAC- Idol Star Athletic Championship - a reality competition that is held every year. BTS stopped participating after 2017 due to their busy schedules. Male and female Kpop groups participate.
And let's take note, besides Taekwondo which is like a national sport for Korea, we have gold medal Olympians too for archery. That's their second best in sports I think .

I'm enjoying your reactions! Thanks for appreciating all the members of BTS! All the guys are extremely talented in so many different areas, and many of them are athletically gifted, too. BTS used to take part in an athletic competition for idol groups, kind of like an idol Olympics. BTS won the relay race three times in a row, with Jimin always as the lead off runner and JK as the anchor. Multiple members competed in several other team events, too--archery, wrestling, etc. I was sad that the Jimin athleticism video you watched didn't include his archery moments!
