This is genius. You have elevated both wargaming and literature by combining them. I have never seen this done before. You have made something entirely new.
When Krieg re-established contact with the Imperium, who thought that the world had been permanently lost, they brought up the issue of tithes. Donating regiments for the Imerial Army, or the Imperial Guard as it was known after the Horus Heresy. The Imperium said something along the lines of;Oh, don't worry. We do not expect you to provide anything so soon. And then Krieg responded by saying "We have 3 regiments ready, with 5 more on the way!" And the Imperium was like; What? The thing is, Krieg had been running on "Total War" mode for so long, that they couldn't stop! Making regiments is now all they know how to do.
I wish a prosperous future to this channel, I absolutely love you work, this model looks amazing I'm an armor modeler and I really like your conversion work, it's a very interesting point of view on the hobby, and damn thos narration is smooth
@@Obergfreighter weapons need to be zeroed kinda often, if that rifle is dropped or hits something hard, the scope the zero could be thrown off, which that would be a pain in the butt in a warzone :3
I really like the ideas and themes you are going for, but your use of AI art not only undermines your critique of exploitation, it also makes the video borderline unwatchable to me. Especially when you take AI images of real scenarios like the fall of the Berlin wall, and pictures for which yoi could have taken real artwork made by real artists.
I didn't realize the Berlin wall images I used were AI-generated. I had searched for them online. Maybe I didn't check the sources well enough, but I hadn't intended to use AI images for that event. I'm moving away from AI-generated imagery in general. I totally agree that using real artwork from real artists is preferable. Thanks for the feedback overall.
I used a combination of existing Krieg decals and I generated some AI art that I then printed on decal paper and then weathered. I'm practicing my freehand for future builds! Good luck with yours!
@@WhiteFlagCo I always find AI "Art" lazy because to me it is a cheap shortcut that lacks self-expression as you're just making a machine do it for you. Now in your defense it is far from the most egregious example of its use, but it doesn't stop me from feeling a little iffy about it. Kitbashing to me is about self-expression, to ignore what the instructions say and to do it your way in order to make it your own. but that's my opinion at least
@@cursedboi7972 Thanks for taking the time to clarify. I appreciate it. I also strongly believe in kitbashing as self-expression. I'm experimenting with AI for things like narration to better understand what it can and can't do, so it's valuable to get other's feedback on whether it's contributing positively to creation or not. Thanks again!
Thanks for the feedback. I'm experimenting with different ways to narrate my stories so that people don't have to listen to my voice the whole time. But I'm interested to understand if you find the AI voiceover piece (for the telling of the story) to be distracting or just don't like it?

I love this. It's so bizarre and grimdark, you are hitting the spot! Great work! Love your art!
That Tadpole would also work well as a WW1 themed Stormlord proxy, since it's close to the same size of a Gorgon assault tank

Wow, this is amazing. I'm glad I stumbled on this.
Thats so dope, love the concept. Would love to see more inspired armies such as this
Harlequins are coming this weekend... ;)
Just subscribed yesterday and was anticipating another video soon, what a treat!
Between the atmosphere, the narration and te final work, another brillant piece of art!
I like the parallels with literature. At least it's interesting to think about.
Great creations?
Is the pig snout the main cannon of the tank? :D
Twin cannons indeed... ;)
I just noticed.. Why would you need rangefinding dials on the scope if you fire a laser beam, which isn't affected by drop or wind?
You would still need to zero the optic and im sure every gun fires different so scopes would need adjustments per rifle
He's a sniper in the video, though, and a Kriegsman before that, I figure he would've had it sighted in ages ago..

I guess, but at that point it seems like it'd be easier to produce weapons with a fixed scope and set sights. Remove temptation from fate's path.
Rule of cool
Damn dude this rocks! I'd love to see more horror-themed miniatures.
So thats what would happen, if Warhammer 40k met Turnip 28.
I have some turnip goodness coming soon... ;)
If anything I find the pighead tank and the chaplain to be gross and funny, I would not consider them to be serious.

@WhiteFlagCo i appreciate your answer! And im looking forward to your work!
how did you get the amazing insignia i am currently building my own krieg love the models

Cool thanks love the vids watched all three back to back wile painting my krieg proxy
That's great to hear! I will be adding to the Krieg army with new units in the coming weeks.
I enjoyed the conversion however, I am very much in disapproval of the use of AI, or more specifically the AI art used on one of the models
How come?

This is really stupid
