- Mr. and Mrs. Dursley, of number four, Privet Drive, were proud to say that they were perfectly normal, thank you very much. They were the last people you'd expect to be involved in anything strange or mysterious, because they just didn't hold with such nonsense. *Click to view more*
The Dursleys often went out of their way to keep their neighbours oblivious to anything odd about their family, usually explaining away anything odd by telling people that Harry was a delinquent who went to a detention school far away. Harry did occasionally update them about Voldemort and the Death Eaters. Because of their family connection to Harry and the danger of Voldemort using them to get to Harry, they were forced to go in hiding for their own safety for a period of time during the height of the Second Wizarding War.
The downstairs consists of a living room, dining room, kitchen and hall. And, of course, the cupboard under the stairs (Harry's old room) which is full of spiders and just large enough for a young boy to sleep in. During his childhood Harry HATED this place and was deeply hurt by his aunt and uncle's neglect and abuse, but he was able to reach a mutual understanding with Dudley when they part ways at 17 years old.
But in this biting cold weather, even 4 Privet Dr. can be a bit comforting, no? Curling up in Harry's cupboard and listening to the sound of Aunt Petunia's cooking, and the gentle sounds of suburban evening...It's okay to drift off for a bit, you are safe...at least for now.

I've listened to ALL of your videos while studying/reading/sleeping. No idea why the Dursley's house is the most relaxing to me. You'd think, given its inhabitants, that it wouldn't be. But it just melts my mind for some reason. Love it.

I think Remus Lupin's office would be nice. I always got a comforting vibe from his character. Teacups clinking, a fireplace going, some wind at the window, maybe a candy bar being unwrapped, and then the occasional sounds from all the creatures that he stores there.

this may sound incredibly dumb, so forgive me for that, but how are the graphics made? are they images found online (as they remind me of what the old pottermore looked like) or were they specifically made and drawn for this by the creator? (incredibly brilliant, however, it makes studying so much more bearable to do so!)

I can't believe this video came out nearly an year ago. I found this by chance while looking for sounds to listen to while doing homework. This is my favourite one since it has home cooked meals being made, tv in the background, commuters coming home. It's such a typical weekday night for a muggle family all within 1 hour.
Hey could you do something similar to this but 1940s and with maybe a fireplace, candles or lanterns, radio tuner sounds, a teakettle, train, and maybe airplanes outside? Looking for some WWII era cozy ambience.
I absolutely LOVE this one! It's one of my very favorites and the sounds are soooooooooooo relaxing. The atmosphere is perfect.
I just stumbled on your channel while I was looking for other ASMR stuff. I've been coming back to this video for days, not just for the sounds, but for your animation. It's makes me feel very nostalgic. Even though there's some magic in the beginning, I like to think this is before everything. Before the Hogwarts Express and the Sorting. Before Ron and Hermione. Before the Triwizard Tournament and the DA. Before the Battle of Hogwarts.

Here, a suggestion of mine : you should do the bathroom haunted by Moaning Myrtle in "HP and the Chamber of Secrets" : imagine the steps, the noise from the corridor, Myrtle's moans, her laugh after flushing a loo or scaring Ginny. Let's not forget Parseltongue and Hermione brewing the polyjuice potion ! It would be so cool !
i love the way the cars sound like they are driving in the wet weather that is common in the UK. it literally sounds the exact same as the cars outside my bedroom right now. :) Such an awesome detail.
