It had a pretty decent budget back in the day. Remember it wasn't cheap to do the FMV, compressing all that onto two CDs. Plus the costumes. It had success due to Scholastics and the popular bestseller.

I remember when I first played this game, flash fright and garlic crusher always terrified me, and now I’m 21 and this game hits home for me, gamers beware, your in for a scare
the same for me, i hated that. my gf got me the ds original card and ive been playing it on my original ds from when i was a kid. SO MANY MEMORIES

Honestly me too but this was especially cool during Halloween when trick or treating started
The only things that scared me were this and Flash Fright. That and the difficulty of some of these games.

This was a HUGE part of my childhood thank you for bringing this theme and thank you Goosebumps and R.L. Stine for making an incredible book series and Video game

Do you all ever wonder how this game came out only like 7 months after the first horrorland book to tie into the book series. Rl stine says it takes about 3 months to write a book so that means this game couldn't have even had two years of development and it's amazing! 😶👀

I am aware the DS port of this game has a different theme for fever swamp. I physically can’t rip sounds from a DS game. I could get a cap card but there’s no point, the audio is compressed anyways so it sounds terrible.

I remember buying this at Best Buy when I was 9 back in '08 for $30 about a month or 2 after it came out the game came bundle with a GooseBumps Book Calling All Creeps. I still have both

I bought the game for all platforms it was out for. Ds, Wii, Ps2, the ps2 version was the best but Goosebumps HorrorLand was a great game!!
