Love the colors! A nice trick for bubbles is spraying the mold with alcohol before you pour. Before the alcohol evaporates, squish the whole mold. Get the alcohol on the whole surface and squish the stem and feather edges, where your gold leaf is, between your fingers. This lubes the silicone so the resin with the gold leaf will slide right down with no mess. You’d have to pour your gold leaf first and while that is curing, paint the mica on. It’s a win/win because if the gold flakes are curing for a bit before you pour the rest, they won’t float. 🙃. Then you can pour a thin layer of clear and drop the alcohol inks. I pour some clear, all around the “stem”? I don’t know what that ridge in the feather is called, but pour around it so the resin is sliding don the sides and alternate between ink drops, clear, ink drops, clear…until it’s full! This turned out beautifully without doing any of that. You might get the look you want doing what I suggested. I learned those tricks from several different people so I don’t know who to give credit to. Looking forward to seeing you make more of these.

Hi Michelle. This turned out beautifully. I have this mold and did a similar technique around the edge. I let the gold leaf cute for a couple hours so it wouldn’t move around. Hope that helps even though yours turned out great.

I'm sure you already know by now, the bottles are visible in the molds. I got this mold and am able to visually see where any bubbles form.

I think the feather is awesome. I really enjoyed watching your videos, and how you implement your thoughts into different molds. I hope you purchase the bathtub mold on temu, I would love to see how you would design it.
