When they kept your passport for visa stamping, did they give you any form/token to show while collecting your passport back
No , nothing . They just kept my passport and said it will be dispatched in 1 week
@@SumanjeetKaur then when recollecting the passport, how did they identify the specific passport for you? I dint choose my home address as delivery location. I chose one of the BLS office that was available in the drop down menu for passport recollection
@Sumanjeet Kaur after submitting your passport, did you receive the email from canada post on the 2nd day?
I chose Courier service and i got email from canada post that my passport is ready to collect . If you track your visa status then you will see the status online whatever option you have chosen to collect passport
I did recieve email from canada post 3rd day
Do you have a trick to get a closer Appointment? I submitted my DS 160 yesterday and the next appointment date in Toronto is Nov 2023
Yes the trick is keep checking for appointments after 12 am or late at night . Because thats how we got our appointment early . Good luck

No there is no place inside . I would suggest dont take phone
Hello, I submitted my application in April 2023 and my interview appointment is scheduled for 3rd June 2024 in Ottawa. My wife and our two daughters came to Canada in October 2023 and they would like to accompany me during my US Summer vacation. After filling out ds160 for each of them, unfortunately, there are no available interview dates in June 2024. Can we be allowed to have an interview on 3rd June 2024 as a family? KINDLY REPLY.

Hi Ashav , there is no storage at US visa office . No electronics are allowed .

I think No. still you can cgeck the visa portal
they will be provide u a translator. not a big deal
Hello. How many months is your appointment wait time for the interview since you lodged your application? I saw online that we have to wait for 600 days to get an appointment but I am not sure if it's really true.
Hi , yes thats right , people are getting appointments after many months. I would suggest just book any appointment even if you are getting for 2024 . Once you get your appointment just try looking for another slot after 11 pm . This is how i got my appointment for after a month. I booked my appointment for 2023 and kept looking for nearer dates every night.Hope this helps. Good luck

Website is same dear . Their is no different website according to visa type. You need to select visa type from category when you are applying visa

It depends upon what option you have selected , courier or pickup . If you have opted for courier it will be shipped to your home, else you need to pickup from canada post

What the size ( Dimensions ) of passport picture ?
2x2 inches, 51x 51 mm. Check online as well

Visitor visa is different but yes you can show this status in canada

Does the us-visa duration depend on your pasaport expiry date?
For example if your passport expiry date is 2 years from now , are they still going to give you 10 years us-visa if approved?
Yes they will still grant you full 10 years visa. If you renew your passport and if you still have US Visa they will attach your old passport with new one so that your US via will remain valid.

Hi Amrit, you can track the status in the same website which you have used to file your visa. Use application number for tracking
