  • In this latest video we take another trek up to Hampstead Heath on a very warm day in London this past August. The goal this time around was to first, enjoy the day (this is always most important!) and second, to challenge ourselves with an interior forest scene. Lindsey talks a little more in-depth about design and composition, and the challenges of Plein Air Painting. We hope you enjoy!

These little plein air paintings are marvellous! You can drink in the light and warmth. So much so I'm sure they contain vitamin D ;)

Great video, inspiring and instructive to see the process (my teacher always encouraged me to do the sky first, so this is new :) ), great paintings!

That would’ve been cool if the couple saw that they were the main feature of the painting. I think that’s a very cool painting.

Congratulations on reaching 1,000 subscriptions. In my opinion, your painting process does not have to be fast, it is better to maintain a normal and quiet painting, and to preserve the natural sound than music. This is my experience.

Nice paintings! Enjoyed the video very much, but Lindsey, you took all that time getting everything just right, but in the end, you left those sky holes just laying on top of everything. It would be a great painting, in my honest opinion, if you would push those back into the painting where they belong. I don’t understand why many artists find this technique acceptable?

Congratulations on your subscription volume reaching 1,000. You have made rapid progress because you have done a good job. However, your film length is too short, and it is estimated that there is still a big gap between the length of 4,000 hours. I am also doing the same channel.
