I was looking at a festival 141 1973 with rapid throw off. Is this the same thanks
What snare drum was used?
It's a Leedy & Ludwig Concert King Snare, part of our personal/backline stock. Such a cool snare.
Poor man's jazz festival snare 😊
I prefer it to the jazz festival as it has a more open tone being six lug
Flamtastic

Nice!
actually it wasnt that nice
@@romrommi !!!!!!!!!!!!!
@@AdarlySaintFleurBatteur hey what do you want little boy? are you doing little boy things?
@@AdarlySaintFleurBatteur are you operating megamachines designed to exploit lithium mines?
sounds great, how is it suspended?
Thanks so much! I use a low base snare stand that goes low enough to accommodate that size of snare.
What are you running for heads on the kick? I have this exact kit, I need my kick drum to sound like that
DOPE!!!! 😮🎛🎚🥁💾🏃✨️
All those KITS ARE FLAVAH RICH N TONE N PLAYED DEMONSTRATED Thoroughly
Dam...dope again second vid first time checking I'm subscribed now.....PEACE 😅
DOPE BREAKS CLEAN DEEP TONES CRISPY SNARE LOVE IT! 😮
Awesome fingercontrol
Ah, my dream kit! Missed out!!
Yes! This old beauty is the best-selling and most-recorded drum kit of all time, simply because of how good it is.
morello’s old kit… amazing
Old stuff sounds so cool. You can tell
The best!
Your floor tom looks a little bit different. Is it also a Ludwig?
Good eye! No that is actually a 60's Pearl floor tom.
Hey Mr. crispy snare, lots of heart and soul there! You play well and that's a sharp sounding and looking drum set, take care!
Thanks so much!
great cymbals
is this a 12/14/20 or 13/16/22? Thanx in advance
Super Classic is 13/16/22
Tuned perfectly. This demo focuses on the sound of the drums and not on how fast the drummer can play. Great job!
My 63’s kit the only difference I have a 18 inch bass drum.
For my uses, the Acrolite sounds much better.
Boy would I love to have a set that sounds like that.
We've got one available now in our store! reverb.com/shop/everettdrumshop
I reckon this is the same as I just got. I bought 2 drum cases off someone , $20 each. They threw in an extra cheap 1 and they said here you can have this too. It was the snare missing several tension rods and top head and snare wires. It was covered in snot and crud. Big mistake. Washed then buffed with Autosol chrome polish . Spent $34 on new snare wires [pearl] and tension rods. I had a new Remo encore single ply batter head kicking around. Tuned up and wow what a surprise, not a bad snare at all. Pleasantly surprised. Good job on your playing and presentation.
So cool, thanks for sharing!
Yes and our drum legend the late buddy rich loved the big bass drum sound he was very particular rightfully so
It sounds just like one of those old Ludwig drum sets from the 60s !! 😋😁😂
And that big old bass drum is the reason we have 20" bass drums today. Those old jazz drummers had to fit a drum kit in a New York City Taxi. But with todays SUV's, no problem. Cool sounding bass drum.
Nice old drum. Tasty grooves!
Where do you even find those kind of bass drums? Did you inherit them or just copped them off ebay? And btw amazing playing, I wish could be able to groove like you one day
Oh my bad, didn't see, this is a drum shop
@pirmaiscalispagalma1479 no worries! Yes we're a drum shop so we find things and refurbish them or take trades and consignment to get a lot of the things we sell. Thanks so much for the compliment, I think the bass drum is doing the heavy lifting haha.
Can i sample this
Yeah for sure!
Fire
Thanks so much!
now play a blast beat
haha I can barely play a regular beat
Came for the bass drum, stayed for the groooove 🤤
Thanks for checking it out!
Love this whole kit sound
Came from Reverb to hear the Pearl kit. Stayed for the playing! Did you get a left handed Carter Mclean to do your videos? I’ll be stealing some licks.
Thanks so much for checking us out! Man, that’s very high praise thanks so much.
sounds groovey man . are you in Everett wash?
Thanks so much! We are, online store for now, but located in Everett.
Cómo me gustan las baterías de esa época con el ride arriba del bombo....lastima que ya no se fabrican asi
Any idea of the make on the tom mount?. I see the Rogers ride mount, but was just curious
I am amazed how many brands used that "rail consolette" type of tom holder.Great drummin.
Great drumming! I had a Drum Mate set when I was a kid.Pretty much the same set.Hated the tom holders because you needed a wrench, but I sure wish I still had that set. SO vintage!
Ушам -- услада
My first drum set. It was in white pearl. I ordered it from either Sears or Montgomery Wards in 1963. 😎
My first kit was a Pearl Presidents and it was one of the best sounding kits I ever had.
They're so great, historically underrated, Gretsch tones at a huge discount.
Is that a Supra snare?
It is! 1970's I believe.
Thats all you need ,many modern drums are overrated, all glitz and glamour ,,
Those hihats are tasty. The kit ain't bad either
What kind of snare wires did these have
Whats head's you use??
I believe those are Remo Coated Ambassadors, thanks for watching!
