I have been struggling with stress related to my studies, which has caused some mental and health issues like stomachaches and headaches. But now, I'm trying to find a balance between studying, my health, my mental well-being, and my social life. I'm incorporating sports, yoga, and also focusing on skincare and haircare. Taking cold showers has really helped me maintain balance in my life. Thank you so much, LEP team! You can't imagine how much you've helped me on my English journey. I'm also trying to support you by sharing, liking, and commenting. 🥰🥰 Love you guys, keep going!🌼🤍

i havent realized my problem until watching this video. i was just playing this vid to practice shadowing but the more i watch the more i realize that iam having big stress in studying and working and loosing work life balance. i am not that hardworking and usually get distracted lol, but i m always in the state of finding things to do and being guilty, feeling that it s not prductive enough if iam not doing sth like working, studying.. and spending much less time for my fam, friends and hobbies - just feel like i should study and work instead. cant believe that those are the signs. promise w myself i will meditate,.. take my work life balance back
After listening this podcast, I realized I was a part of it. I think many people have been the same as me when we really focus on something. Even we have some workaholism symptoms on daily problems. The intense, exausted, lost-balanced feeling would appear when we put our mind too much. Instead of trying to take a breath, I supposed that it must be when facing somethings needed to finish. It is major cause of mental, physical symptoms that get you down more than you could imagine.
It sounds like the podcast really resonated with you and highlighted some important issues about balance and mental health. It's so easy to become absorbed in our work or other commitments to the point where it can negatively impact our well-being. Recognizing the signs of overexertion is a crucial first step. Taking regular breaks and ensuring you manage your stress are vital for maintaining both mental and physical health. It’s important to listen to your body and mind, and prioritize self-care. Thank you for sharing your insights, and take care!
i used to be a workaholic, focusing in my job and ignoring everything around me. including my girlfriend. Another day i realized I was wrong. If i keep focus in my job too much, i'll miss out on a lot of thing important things.
It’s good that you realized this-it’s not easy to balance work and relationships. Taking a step back and focusing on what truly matters can make a big difference. Work is important, but so are the people in your life. Wishing you the best in finding that balance! 😊
