- We got an emergency alligator call today from the state about an alligator that grabbed a dog....

Because French bulldogs have so much loose skin, luckily the gator just grabbed her head superficially and was not able to pull her back through the fence into the water! She's okay!

It is given to man to multiply and to subdue the earth. Alligators know that we can re-claim any territory we want, any time we choose. If they encroach on OUR territory, we will handle them with our dominance.

great work guys, I do not like it when they are killed, after all it is us to builds on their territory and they have just as much of a right to live a full life as we all do. Never call yourselfs dumb for rescuing animals that would be killed if you had not done it, you guys are amazing, I am actually hooked on your videos and keep binge watching them.
Regarding your own land for a sanctuary, if you open a go fund me, or something similar I will gladly donate towards the cause, as I am sure a lot of other people who view your videos would do as well.
Great video idea I had was seeing & showing how many of the different Invasive Species of Reptiles, Amphibians, Fish & Birds you can locate & catch in a 2-3 day period! It'd be super fun, educational & helpful to see how to safely find/locate, catch and then relocate them to sanctuaries as ambassador animals so people can identify & safely what species are living around them! Would be great content that everyone from the police, fire , emt, teachers at schools, mailmen & women ect can use as reference for both their and the animals safety!

I was born and raised in Florida, and when I was a kid, people occasionally lost a dog, walking it next to a lake or pond, and it was horrible, but, the gator usually stayed. I get why it's necessary to trap and cull these animals, but I hate the tag " nuisance ", I feel it doesn't put the blame where it belongs, on US. This is not to take away at all, from what you , not only do, but, HAVE to do to keep a balance between "humans" and wildlife there. Good work!.
I argue about this myself! I live in an area with ‘nuisance’ mountain lions and it bothers me how often they are just put down.
@@catcando1131 sadly, once their behavior is modified by OUR actions, as humans, there isn't anything else to be done. We , as humans, and caretakers of the wild, in a way, need to be proactive, ever trying to limit negative interaction, encroachment upon important migration routes and living spaces, and also not anthropomorphizing these natural predators, without the desire to preserve, all will be lost.

Hey you guys, I have a question as to what is the explanation as to why when you rub an alligator on its belly, it 'goes to sleep,' but it does not work on a crocodile? I think I first saw it when Steve Irwin was on Jay Leno years ago. Thx!
