I read and appreciate EVERY comment you make folks - I don’t have time to reply to them all, but I really want you to know that I genuinely read them all, so thanks for taking the time to write them. Especially for this video
Grame, about the water issue. I've suggested it before, get a couple of lengths of 4inch (10cm) PVC pipe and make water pipes on top of the crush and have an electric fuel pump for a car hooked to them with a hose and shop air gun as a sprayer for some of those deep cracked hooves. Clean what's needed just like using a waterpic tooth cleaner. I used to have an antifreeze jug with a fuel pump inside it and an old spray gun on top and a 12v emergency light battery taped to the side of the jug, it would knock a soda can over from 50 ft away. 3 full sections of PVC pipe on top would probably hold about 50 gallons of water, more than enough for a days trimming.
Hi Graeme, thank you for such a personal video, you had your hands full today but thank you for showing cows who live outside can and do get problems, I personally thought that cows only got dermatitis because of walking in their waste but today I learnt that is not true and no matter what environment they live in problems arise and the cows who are under your care are able to get treated in the very best way possible. I have heard your story of how you lost the farm, going through that at such a young age is never easy but I am a true believer that everything happens for a reason, sometimes it doesn't make sense that anything good can come through such grief and pain but look at you now, your path took you through some awful times but it brought you to where you are today, I am certain your Dad would be so so proud of what you have achieved and the knowledge that you are able to teach so many, so cows around the world are given better treatment and quicker healing. I am not a farmer, I am a housebound grandma who is severely disabled due to spinal damage caused when I was 8 years old when a boy in my class pulled the chair away as I went to sit down - twice - life's lessons are there and it is up to us how we deal with them, be proud of what your Dad taught you and then your stepdad teaching you your trade. Love to you and your family and again thank you for such a personal video xxxx
i came for the hoof trimming, but i stayed for the personalities. this is a very comforting channel for me. i'm confident your father would have been proud of you
It’s not really hoof trimming that has created opportunities for you. It’s your personality and desire to do something different that has resulted in people all over the world following you, not just for weird cow feet, but also what you bring to it. I’m sure your dad would be proud and I’m sorry he passed away when he did, it must have been very hard.
I’m confident that Graeme’s dad would be immensely proud of him. A successful business, a happy, healthy family and millions of people around the world who appreciate him.
I agree. He's started a family, works a career that provides for them, and is raising his sons to work hard and take pride in their work. It absolutely would make a man of Graeme's father's generation proud
I'm glad you are who you are..who you became... you make the world a better place...every grateful cow and every grateful viewer (not to mention your lucky friends and family)
I'm going to step away from what most people are commenting on and mention that I love the fact that these were beef cattle that you trimmed. So many people think that beef cows are not cared for the same way that dairy cows are. Or that cows in general are not cared for. However, your videos prove the opposite not only because of the work you do. But also because of the passion you show in the work you perform.
Wow it’s been a while since I’ve gotten a heart. Thank you it means so much to know that you do read the comments and that you care about what we write. I wish I could come see you at your book release.i have to wait to get your book until I get paid but I can’t wait. God bkess
There's a lot of us do. It's gentle, no one's getting hurt, unnecessarily. The scenery is stunning, and Graham and friends are people who care passionately about what they do, and do it well.
Graeme, I can hear the sadness in your voice as you talk about your family farm. Just remember, everything happens for a reason and you are exactly where you’re supposed to be! Doing what you love, with a great team behind you, a beautiful family and a dream you turned into reality despite the hardships you have gone through. I am certain your father is extraordinarily proud of you as we all are, YOUR HERD!!!! YOU, DO YOU!!❤❤
I have to say that I don’t primarily watch your videos for the hoof trimming. There are a lot of people doing hoof trimming videos and the only ones I watch are yours. It’s your personality, outlook on life, and humor that makes me eagerly await new videos. The hoof trimming is an added bonus , along with the people you surround yourself with. Your dad would be very proud of all you have accomplished.
Same for me. I truly believe it is the voice that draws us in. I have a an extremely hard time understanding Greame because of his accent yet I still love watching all his videos ❤
Actually yes, i agree with you. Its not just the hoof trimming having me return here. This is the only hoof trimming channel I watch just because those videos are so calming and beautiful. The music choices, the filmography, the people in it, the educational stuff, too. It's all so interesting and relaxing to watch. 100% on board with what youre saying
I completely understand the nostalgia of the lost family farm. We just had to sell ours because my dad had a stroke. It breaks my heart. Love your channel.
Yeah. The farm from my paternal grandma's side is still in the family, I live on it, in fact, but the farm my other grandparents grew up on had to be sold long ago. There were so close calls with this farm, but we've managed to hold onto it. I wonder what the future holds as the nearby town creeps closer.
I grew up on a tobacco farm in eastern North Carolina USA in the fifties and sixties. Memories, my brother lives there still but the land is rented out.
Graeme my dad died when I was 19, I'd taken care of him as a young girl. Was with him continually for the last six months of his life. Incredibly hard and wonderful I learned more about my Irish heritage. I became a nurse, injured my back raised a family who know my da's story, now we (hubby of 38 yr.) meet US and NATO troops as the return home or deploy 24/7 365. Everything I've done my life I've taken him with me. Everyday he's with me. The day I got married I decided to have a father daughter dance with my brother except I felt like I was dancing with my Da. Until we got the pictures back the photographer was very upset that special picture was something he couldn't explain he got my Da dancing with me that day. I think your Da is with you at those special moments I think he is proud. 🙂
@@janetf9076the saying when a door closes a window opens. That window opened to the best thing I've ever had the honor of doing 15 yrs! I think cthis is why I love watching the HoofGP I love watching someone who loves his work. He went out a window and found what he is supposed to be doing. Pretty special guy.
I lost my father when I was 18. Since then I’ve had the big milestones like the first year without him, then the big birthdays like 21 and then half my life with him and half without. Last year I hit 50, the age he was when he died. I often wonder what he’d think of the man I’ve become. I still miss him to this day and am proud to have been his son. Life never gets easier when you’ve lost a parent but I’ve learnt that I am stronger for the pain and suffering. I’m sure your father would be super proud of the man his son has grown into. The care you show the animals you work on, the love of the work and the skills that you display when you expertly slice off millimetres of hoof!
I can understand what you have experienced over the years. My father died a little over 20 years ago. I was older than you, in my early 30's but, still hard. This year I reached the age my father was when he died. It is an unusual feeling. Take care. Enjoy the ride. Smell the roses.
@@TheHoofGP Graeme .My heart went out to you & I had tears rolling down my face . I was 11 when my Dad was taken away Mom was left to raise 5 kids by herself . Only thing the Law took him away I thank God every day they saved us from him , he was pure evil . Honestly I`m jealous of anybody who had a wonderful childhood ,dang that sounds mean kind of . Sending my love Anita
The older we get, Graeme, the more nostalgic we become bc as we get further away from our pasts, the more we appreciate it. I also think we miss our loved ones even more bc we can no longer share our lives with them. No more phone calls, letters, birthdays or holiday celebrations. One last thing, Graeme, I’m 100% sure that your dad would be proud of you beyond words!
I think I've seen 99% of your videos. This is the most enjoyable one I've seen. You showed almost every emotion. Reminiscing, pensive, and most importantly, laughing with your co- workers who are friends and family. I love the interaction between the 4 of you. Thanks for the captions😂Thank you for these wholesome videos❤
Growing up "free range" definitely made an impact on you! The wilds of Scotland, the land, the sea, the cattle, are all part of who you are. Thank you for sharing it all with us!
I just want to say, We love you Graeme! Life doesn't always work out the way we think that it will. But, I'm pretty positive that your father would be very proud of the man, husband, father that you've become! Love from Oklahoma! ❤❤❤
Your dad would be SO proud- even if you don’t have the farm anymore, you’re continuing to uphold the family legacy in the homeland that your family has been in for ages.
I love what you gentlemen do. Graeme, I fully understand what you're feeling about being on the farm you grew up on. When I was 15, my parents split up and my mom, brother and myself moved to town. We had an auction to sell the cows and equipment, the farm was sold. Fast forward about 15 years, my brother and his wife are looking to buy a house. The house and surrounding buildings plus 40 acres of land are for sale. They bought the place. Hadn't been a working farm for years, all the metal stanchions and pipelines in the barn had been stripped out years before. They don't have a herd of cows but, they have a small clowder of outdoor cats they love and take care of. It always feels like home. It's been really great watching them build their lives and family for the last 20-odd years. Lots of new memories for all of us. I apologize for being long winded. I enjoy watching you, Craigie boy and Kevin take such good care of the cows. It also brings fond memories of time spent with my cows when I was young. Thank you for sharing this with all of us. 💗💜💙🐄🐂
Even though your dad had his issues, he'd have been so proud of what you've achieved Graeme, and the rest of his children. You've all done so well. How could he not be proud of you all? 🥰 Quite emotional returning to your childhood farm I'm sure.
I just love your channel!! Here I am in the US, almost 70 and following someone from Scotland who trims cows feet. I know nothing about cows, but find your work fascinating. It turns out that life is a such a crap shoot - of all the places in the world that we could have been born and all the families that we could have been part of - why are we where we are? The farm is so beautiful. It must have been devastating to have to give it up like you did. You’ve been on quite the journey and your hard work has brought you well deserved success. There are some lucky cows in your part of the world that get to have you look after them!!
Your dad would be proud of you. I know because I’m a random city woman from the United States, and I’M proud. It’s easy to see the care and love you put into your work.
I came across your videos a couple of years ago . I had been 7 years sober from a 28 year heroin addiction and was struggling to fill my days with something and I came across a random video of yours, so of course I dove into your past videos , It helped me so much . Listening to your voice helped calm my mind. I will be forever grateful and thankfully I'm still clean . MUCH LOVE.
I think The Hoof GP is one of the most popular video’s on You Tube. This was a very emotional episode you thinking about your childhood and the beautiful landscapes you showed us. Thank you young man.❤❤
i watch these everyday before bed to help with my anxiety attacks. my family had horses so it's a really interesting view point on how their hoofs are treated. please don't ever stop making videos. 💕
With the love and care you give the cows you take care of, I'm absolutely sure your dad is incredibly proud of you. My dad and I weren't on speaking terms when he passed because of his actions. I regret everyday not getting to say goodbye. Cherish the memories you have. You had a father that loved you unconditionally. I had a father that pretended to while turning and beating me senseless at the drop of a dime.
Lots of love to all of you lads, Kevin included! I love when you call the cows lass. "Easy lass, you're okay," is such a sweet way to calm these beautiful cows.
This video hit close to home for me. I come from a family of dairy farmers, and growing up spent significant time helping on them. They’re honestly some of my most precious memories. Recently, the last dairy farm in the family-the very one I used to help on-had to be auctioned off because my cousin’s wife filed for divorce and was awarded half the farms value. All the cows and equipment are now gone, and last I heard the farmhouse, barn and all the other outbuildings will be taken down so it can all be converted over to crop fields. My heart still aches over it as it was just a few months back that it all happened. It shouldn’t bother me so as I’m now 60 years old and would never be able to do what I did in my younger years. I don’t even live in the area, but it still brings heartache. I can’t imagine what you felt being back at your family farm. But I’m certain your father would be proud of the life you’ve built, and I hope you find comfort in that thought. Blessings to you, and thank you for sharing your cows with me; it means more than you’ll ever know!
@@karenokeson2705 Ditto, farm built up by three generations was chopped in two, how is it just that the divorce took half of three generation's blood sweat and tears?
The family farms are disappearing but the memories are forever. I spent every summer on my uncle’s farm and when his entire herd of 100 dairy cows had to be destroyed due to a disease that spread through the area - my uncles heart was broken, his farm is now apple orchards belonging to a corporation and he retired to the city.💔
And when you’re a farmers wife, you also work from sunrise to sunset. ( guessing that divorce sometimes may give the wife entitlement to parts of the sale - prenuptial agreements and wills are not just for the wealthy)
Your father looks down upon you with pride. You’ve made a beautiful life for yourself and for your family. It’s been a joy seeing you grow through the years. I can’t wait to see your sons work alongside you.
Seeing the way you are able to talk about your dad inspires me. I am 21 and going through the process of losing my mother now. You give me hope that I will get through this and be successful for my future family. Thank you team for these wonderful videos. Sending my love from Australia
I'm proud of you, so I say it's a given he'd be immensely proud of the man you have become. You've built a business, educated others, and built a family. I'd say built a community, but this community is more than that it's like another family. You bring awareness about the amount of work that goes into our food. Hoof trimming was your destiny. You were destined to educate and heal. Your team is family and is insanely talented. I love the sense of humour you all have. You all make me laugh. One herd One Family. This lady lives vicariously through you guys. Shes having a whale of a time doing it! Thank you ❤
You brought tears to my eyes when remembering MY time on the ranch in Colorado, USA. I thought @19, I would live and die being a farmer's wife. Doing all there was at an Angus beef ranch of 3K acres. Alas, that ended with the sale of the 3rd generation in the later 1990's. I think back how hard we ALL worked and LOVED, and that my children missed that life. Be grateful, young man, for YOUR family can and WILL remember (thru you) what it meant to really live the life of an ancient culture of Scotland.
Scotland is beautiful! You truly are blessed to have grown up in such a beautiful country. One day, one day! Scotland is on my bucket list of places I would like to visit. Thank you for sharing such beautiful views of your home land.❤
My Dad is gone too and I often wonder what he would think of me now. I know your father would be extremely proud of you. Thank you for your dedication to educating us all and most of all, for loving these cows.❤🐄
Graeme, Thank you for not only another great video but the heart felt words, expressions and pictures of a look back at where you grew up. Please make sure you have health checkups. Many heart problems are generational. As you said he was close to your age when he crossed over. Love and Prayers to the whole crew/family from a 65 year old fan from Kentucky, USA.
I'm sure your dad would be very proud of the man you have become. A wonderful family, business and a world wide following. Because you are a kind genuine man. 😊
Hearing you talk about growing up here and losing your father and, with him, the prospect of running this farm yourself, genuinely made me tear up. I didn't grow up on a cattle farm, but I did grow up surrounded by small cattle farms. There were two across from our home and I miss the sights and smell and sounds, the cows lowing on a brisk morning while we waited at the school bus stop, the occasional breakout of a freedom seeker, the horses grazing alongside the Herefords and Holsteins. Something like that really gets into your skin and becomes a part of you, even when you're not the one working the fields and tending the animals. Just existing alongside it is beautiful. I think that's why I'm so drawn to your videos. 💗
Your Dad would be so proud of you, not just for what you are doing and have achieved but also because you come across as a really nice person. Thats everything as parents we want for our kids. ❤❤
Your father would be so proud of you. The caring and integrity you show in each video to every cow. I look forward to every video all the way from USA. Although I did have to look up “pop your clogs”, so sorry for your loss, glad you have great memories.
Well geez…this one choked me up. It’s wonderful that life has turned out so well for you and your family and perfect that you can spend some time back on your old family farm. What a beautiful setting!
Your father would be proud of you. You made a good life for yourself and your family after a tragedy. You still work with livestock, which keeps you close to the land - I guess you could say "grounded". You're also a canny businessman, and Mrs. HGP is no slouch in the brains department. Parents by and large want better for their children than what they had, and in that you have been successful. Cheers!
After I began to watch your videos almost 2 years ago my then 8 yr old grandson joined me. His hoof gp shirt is often worn (I sent you a picture of him when he received it). When he spends the night with me or if I visit we have to catch up on the videos he hasn’t seen. He is now 10, his 6 yr old brother joined in our video watching last year. Now my 4 yr old granddaughter asks to watch you when she is over. You can say you have become a much loved tradition!
I enjoy getting input from Kevin and Craig as well as you, but it's obvious you're the leader. It's good seeing Ashley now and again, too. Thanks for showing us your family farm and sharing your background.
The part where Graeme muses about his dad a little really resonates with me. My dad passed in March and I always miss him. It's funny how I keep finding things to make me think of him in the most unlikely places. Love the videos and in case you see this I'm sure your dad is very proud of you.
We love Kevin! Graeme, you can never go back”home”. It’s never the same. You may not have become as successful as you are today. Treasure the time you spend there but realize fate sometimes has other plans for you.
You’re just where you’re meant to be Graeme.😊 without trying to sound like your Mum.” I’m So proud of you, you’ve made a great life for yourself.♥️. And family.
Graham, just two comments, firstly your Dad would be proud of what you have achieved in your life, lovely wife, great kids and you always do the best for the animals you look after. Secondly, the one thing my Dad told me was this ‘ as long as you make the best decision on the information you have at the time, it does not matter if it’s right or wrong, you have done your best’.
Graeme, watching you in these is a true pleasure. Especially in this video. You are always so heart felt and compassionate about your work. This is what sets you aside from the others. Hoof trimming isn't just a job for you, it's a passion, a calling that you know you can make a difference in their lives. I'm quite sure your father is looking down on you, seeing all you are doing, and is extremely proud of you and all you have accomplished. You are a good person. Always remember this.
Thank you for sharing with us. What a beautiful video even though I cried through a lot of it. Now that I'm nearing the end of my life this hits hard. I just sent most of my bovines to market because physically I can no longer care for all of them. I'm left with 3 bottle baby yaks and two old pet steers, one a retired bull that I kept because he was so kind and sweet, promising him he'd never leave this place. Hopefully I'll be able to keep that promise.
Listening to you reminisce about your childhood on your family farm reminded me of why I watch you. When I was 11,12 & 13 and we would go on vacation to Western Tennessee to visit family my Uncle would take me on his cow route with him. He was an artificial breeder for cows and we would travel all over Tennessee, Kentucky and surrounding states visiting all sorts of farms. He taught me to drive and at 12 I would drive for him all over. He’s been gone a long time but your videos always remind me of those days. Thanks for that!
Leave Kev alone he is so quiet it is nice to see him interacting more. A Chough is a black bird beloved by Witches as protectors against curses….that is why they are so rare. They were killed & buried in walls of houses!!!
true, but being chuffed is spelt differently and, appparently, means swollen with fat - so in fine fettle, I guess! English really is a very complex language, especially when one adds in the dialects!
Graeme, you just said exacerbate without any hesitation or any sign of even the slightest difficulty. I am highly impressed! 😉 On another note, I lived and farmed my grandfathers homestead, at first in partnership with my dad, and then raised 2 boys who decided to leave the farm. They are successful, but I have had to quit and let it go. I will always call it home but time marches on. Still it was by far the largest part of my life. I know your feelings. Blessings to you and yours.
It is so beautiful there, I had the great privilege to visit Scotland last January and hope it get to go back to visit again. You need to know that your dad would be so proud of the kind man you have begun. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
I know how you feel Graeme, my grandparents had a farm, and my uncle ran it for awhile after they passed. But when he passed away, my dad and aunt sold the farm. I’ve always wondered if I could have made a go at it… Much love from Canada! ❤️🇨🇦❤️
I stumbled on your videos and continue watching because it's satisfying to watch the relief you bring to animals who have no voice. Sore feet can take anyone down.
I never commented before but this video feels special 💚 I follow this channel since maybe 2 little months and I feel the love you have for this job you do and I love it when we get to have a little background as it proves why you seem to be such a genuine person! It's also my dream to visit Scotland one day so I thank you for making me travel a little and discover this all, you and your team's doing it for lots of people around the world and it's amazing! Your father would be proud for sure 💚 Oh and more love to Kevin, sorry 🤭😂 Also sorry for the eventual English mistakes ahah Wishing everyone who read this lots of good things ❤
I'm sure your father would be proud of you. You're a good man living a good life and raising a good family. You do your best to help where you can and keep a positive attitude whilst doing it. I'm going to start sharing these videos with my kids so they can learn the kindness you show the cows, your crew, and yourself. ❤
Whoever invented the 'crush' to hold the cows while you work was genius. I love watching you work even though I wasn't raised in the country, I have always loved animals and their welfare. I was born in England but have lived in the USA for many years and it is so delightful to hear you and your co-workers speak.
It’s wonderful that you get to go back to your childhood home and relive some childhood memories, happy and sad. I am sure your father is watching over you and feeling immense pride. I love your channel and your tribe of wonderful friends/family❤
That’s the coolest squeeze unit I have seen. I have done some branding, shots, cutting horns, ears, and other things, but I have never seen anything as elaborate as this.
Dude, that’s why I love your show. I’m a big coffee junky. I’m always surprised to see you drinking coffee over tea. You know, I grew up around cows and never realized someone taking care of the hooves. I helped my pawpaw do various chores feeding, rounding up or loading (mostly being chased by angry bulls🤣).
I work in ICT as a network engineer and i stumbled across your channel a few years ago and its your demeanor and passion towards your craft that has kept me engaged even when my own craft has nothing to do with livestock. You are awesome Graeme and your crew is even better. Never underestimate how far your work can reach and how inspiring something can be.
Sorry Graham, but Kevin is very cute, he's just got it, and you haven't! If he were bit taller, and not married - and I was fifty years younger - I'd be travelling to S W Scotland with bunch red roses and a proposal! But seriously, you're all a great team and we love all your video's and the great care you have towards the animals you treat. Lots of love to you all....and to Mrs HGP too and your lovely little family. So glad I was curious enough to take first look at HGP Xx
Beautiful video and beautiful scenery shots. Your intro is so enjoyable it makes my heart happy like it did when I started watching you a while back with your first crush. Memories, the personal photo albums of our lives. Funny how that reflection of our lives becomes embedded in our souls and so easily comes flooding to the forefront. You’ve done well Graeme and I love seeing you work alongside your family. It really shows how important family is to you and your a good hearted person. It’s been such a pleasure watching you grow. ❤❤
Lovely video and you are always reflect and are introspective each time you visit and rightfully so. It's a good omage to your dad. I get sad every time I visit my mom's house and miss my dad. So sorry you lost your father at such a young age. That must have been really hard for your whole family. Just look at all you have accomplished. How could your dad be anything but proud of the success you have become.🐮🐄💕🐮🐂
Mr. GP 😂, I am in America and have bought your merch before with no problem, but I cannot find your book here. HELP PLEASE! No one’s life is good all the time and you and are no different. You shouldn’t divulge all things family GP, but what you do share about your life is honest and raw. The people in the Herd see that in your videos and it gives us a bit of an uplift to our days. God Bless you and Mrs. GP and those precious children. ❤
I’m sure your dad watches you everyday and he’s extremely proud of you. He my not be standing with you but I promise he’s with you watching you trim and take care of those cows and he’s tell all in heaven that’s my boy and I’m so proud of him . I lost my dad at age 50 and I’m with you I wonder if he’s proud of me with the life choices I’ve made he was 50 and I was young I would give anything in this world to just be able to talk to him for 5 minutes. But never doubt it he’s there and really proud of you .
I must say that I enjoy watching you work on these cows. I actually find it satisfying in some strange way. Sorry to hear about your dad and the lost of the farm. I am glad you get to revisit those glory days when you visit that farm and the area 😊😊
I firmly believe you are exactly where you were meant to be. Helping those around you and uplifting spirits, and mocking friends from a valley who don't understand tsunamis - lovingly.
Graeme I am sure you make your father very proud. You have a beautiful family, and a job that has created one heck of a life. You have taken hoof trimming to whole new heights with all of the products, and teachings you do for the industry. If you were my son I would be proud of the man you have became, and I only see the parts you let us see. Cheers and have a blessed day
Your friend was somewhat right about the tsunamis. There was a prehistoric tsunami that devastated the east and north coast of Scotland and the east coast of England. It was caused by an undersea land slip off the coast of Norway. Not forgetting the one that submerged Doggerland.
With what you got into, what you're doing with the cows, a cow farrier, goes a long way. Much further and so much more helpful to all these thousands of cows, and those many farms, than just running your own farm. You were meant for the life and job you're doing. Your father would be, no, he IS proud of you. He's watching you and with you whenever you think of him. What I also like about you.. and what's so important - that you still are so aware and grateful for the beautiful lands surrounding you. Kevin is lovely, and so are the others. you're a great team together. you're all lovely.
I must admit I have a soft spot for Kevs smile! He is so genuine and camera shy. You can see he's a work horse and is ready and happy to get the job done for the cows, none of the filming aspect. Keep smiling Kev!
Your father is looking down on you. What have happened when he was still alive? You will not know. But I can assure you that you Should have been working with these beautiful creatures. At the same time I will say that your work is very appreciated by the animals and the farmers. Your work is very special. Thank you for being a part of the herd 🐄🐄🐄🐄🐄

It’s all of it. Learning things about livestock and caring for them. How he does is the hook that gets you addicted.
Well said
You are spot on correct. He is just such a lovely guy ❤
I haven’t even seen a cow irl for over 10 years but I still find myself watching these videos 😂
Steve is right. It's not just the problem cow's feet. It's what you bring to it. Kudos.
As a widowed mother of four children, listening to you talk about your dad, and sharing your grief /healing gives me so much hope for my children.
same, widowed mother of three here.
God Bless you both and your families! 🦋
Same, with two boys who are now in college. 😢 watching them work in the garage with their dad’s tools is so bittersweet.
I’m confident that Graeme’s dad would be immensely proud of him. A successful business, a happy, healthy family and millions of people around the world who appreciate him.
I totally agree!!!!😊😊😊😊😊
I agree. He's started a family, works a career that provides for them, and is raising his sons to work hard and take pride in their work. It absolutely would make a man of Graeme's father's generation proud
We're all proud of him now. He was quite the worrisome young lad before he got his sh*t together.
I have no idea why I find watching you working on these cows so relaxing. Your father would be proud
Wow it’s been a while since I’ve gotten a heart. Thank you it means so much to know that you do read the comments and that you care about what we write. I wish I could come see you at your book release.i have to wait to get your book until I get paid but I can’t wait. God bkess
I was just thinking the same thing.
There's a lot of us do. It's gentle, no one's getting hurt, unnecessarily. The scenery is stunning, and Graham and friends are people who care passionately about what they do, and do it well.
Don't forget about the humor! 😊
I agree! His voice is so relaxing. He’s just has a calming way about him. He’s the best!
YOU, DO YOU!!❤❤
You are an earth angel. I love how you care lovingly for all the cattle. ❤️❤️❤️
I could not agree more.
yes, absoutley!
@@tonikimpel7891 half the time i dont know what he says but further in the video, it becomes clear,,,
I love Kevin- and Craigie-Boy too! 😁They’re so humble!
I completely understand the nostalgia of the lost family farm. We just had to sell ours because my dad had a stroke. It breaks my heart. Love your channel.
I'm so sorry.😢❤
My heart and thoughts go out to you.
Yeah. The farm from my paternal grandma's side is still in the family, I live on it, in fact, but the farm my other grandparents grew up on had to be sold long ago. There were so close calls with this farm, but we've managed to hold onto it. I wonder what the future holds as the nearby town creeps closer.
I hope one day there are no dairy or meat farms.
Thank you for serving our troops.
I can't imagine your dad not being proud of you, Graeme. You're a legend, and seem like such a nice human being.
Okay, you made me cry. What a sweet video. I'm sure your Dad would be proud and amazed at what you do.
I made myself cry editing it.
@@TheHoofGP ♥️♥️♥️
Really cry? Lmao that's why I said he is purposely is.making videos like a Sarah Mclaughlin commercial, I personally feel like you got scammed lol

@@TheHoofGP HUGS. You are a fine man, good husband, great dad. So much to be proud of from any direction viewed.
I'm in bed recovering from a major surgery, and this cheered me up. Thank you
THANK YOU Hoof GP for bringing the music back!!!!!! I ABSOLUTELY love it!!!!!
Even though your dad had his issues, he'd have been so proud of what you've achieved Graeme, and the rest of his children. You've all done so well. How could he not be proud of you all? 🥰 Quite emotional returning to your childhood farm I'm sure.
Beautiful comment ❤
You had me in tears talking about your dad. He would be so proud of you. Such a beautiful place to grow up xxx lyn
This Old Lady loves all your beautiful smiles God Bless you ALL plus ALL you do for the cows
Hugs. Been there as well. 💙
( guessing that divorce sometimes may give the wife entitlement to parts of the sale - prenuptial agreements and wills are not just for the wealthy)
never knew how much i can enjoy a “show” about hoof trimming- but here i am! fascinating, great scenery, great chemistry.
DAD is watching over you ! Great job!
Love this cow community! From here in America! 😊🐄❤️
I have no idea why watching this is so satisfying and calming! I suppose it’s because you are helping the animals, but also your voice.
It brings back your inner child and all the wonderful memories that you have. Glad you can feel that now and again.
I think it was suicide or accidental drowning.
That old farm looks so enchanting. I grew up in a magic place too. Warm smiles .
9:34 made me cry. I have a lot of the same thoughts about my own father who died back in April. I miss him every day.
Thanks Hoof GP. To everyone thank you all❤
I'm sure your dad would be very proud of the man you have become.
A friend told me that wisdom years ago and it has helped me so much in my life ever since.
Hugs 💗💜💙
We LOVE Craigie Boy and Kevin! They are a wonderful support for the work and the family!!
I love when you show the cows' sweet little faces, all of these large babies are so cute and seeing them happy makes my day better!
Yes be nicer to Kevin and I guess Gregg
true, but being chuffed is spelt differently and, appparently, means swollen with fat - so in fine fettle, I guess!
English really is a very complex language, especially when one adds in the dialects!
I'm partial to Charolais, myself. Some of the prettiest cattle at the stock shows, and a labor of love to keep them in shape during the show season!
I can feel what you are saying and how much this place means to you and how much you miss your Dad. 😢 it has brought tears to my eyes.
I’ve always wondered if I could have made a go at it…

Whoever invented the 'crush' to hold the cows while you work was genius. I love watching you work even though I wasn't raised in the country, I have always loved animals and their welfare. I was born in England but have lived in the USA for many years and it is so delightful to hear you and your co-workers speak.

Beautiful video and beautiful scenery shots. Your intro is so enjoyable it makes my heart happy like it did when I started watching you a while back with your first crush. Lovely video and you are always reflect and are introspective each time you visit and rightfully so. It's a good omage to your dad. I get sad every time I visit my mom's house and miss my dad. I lost my dad at age 50 and I’m with you I wonder if he’s proud of me with the life choices I’ve made he was 50 and I was young I would give anything in this world to just be able to talk to him for 5 minutes. But never doubt it he’s there and really proud of you .
My father died when I was 40 he wasn’t the best father
I love Kevin's contributions.
