I love the way these Vestige marketers influence people about their products by twisting words and bending the truth.
What she has said about protein is somewhat true. Now let me share some insights about this product:
This product is not manufactured by Vestige they only market it. Its produced locally by a company called Superchem Nutri Formulations which is based in Himachal Pradesh.
Like she said in her example 50g of Protein is required on a daily basis. Now let's calculate what we are getting with Invigo:
5.01g Protein per 30g Serving. So in a 500g container, you will roughly get around 500/30 = 16.6 ~ 17 Servings.
So in a total 500g jar, you will be getting 17 * 5.01 = 85.17g of Protein which cannot even fulfill your 2 days of requirement.
Therefore you are getting only 85.17g of Net Protein in a 500g jar. The vitamins and minerals are all fillers and remember you are supposed to be paying for protein, not for fillers.
The cancer-related claim has absolutely no strong scientific evidence.
Vestige advertises this product as easy to digest but if you look at the nutrition label closely you will find that the protein has been sourced from the following ingredients:
Whole Milk Powder, Skimmed Milk Powder, Whey Protein Concentrate, and Soy Protein Isolate
The above ingredients are cheap and they are hard to digest for lactose-intolerant people. Also, the Amino Acid profile is nowhere to be found on the nutrition label.
I couldn't find the Nutrition Info anywhere on the Vestige website so I had to do some digging and I found the product info on Flipkart.
This product is highly overpriced and a complete waste of money. If you do the maths Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Whey would cost far lesser than this in terms of quality and per gram protein price.
