The Finale Cutscene its a pre-rendered video that Real Time Cutscenes doesn't support, so theres no Model Swap nor Rain, but the monologue of The End mod is still there.
These mods really gave the final frontier update a new feel, one of my favourite things is the fact that the whole environment is changed from dark to snowy and cold especially matching with 12:22 with the line "Walk forward through the cold dawn" as we get to see that one screenshot worthy punch. (In a nutshell, the mods in sonic frontiers are wonderful)
Everything here is incredible BUT the snow and day time, because the end fight with the purple really showed how much it was looming over Starfall and gave an increase to drama.
Fun fact 0:04 if you pay attention to the background speed you could see when Sage appears the background movement slows down. This means Sonic slowed down for Sage when she appeared. How nice.
Starting the video. I like the dead, wintery look, but I think it'd fit Rhea Island better than Ouranos. 6:08 Ha! Finally an actually distinct Super Sonic 2. The yellow has become much more orangeish red!
I would honestly appreciate to have the OG main game Final Boss between "Supreme" and "Supreme-End", where Sage gets to make her sacrifice, but The End takes over Supreme upon exploding, instead of disappearing alongside the Titan, this makes Eggman helping MUCH more personal, Sonic's friends are the only ones keeping the barrier up, and we can say Supreme End uses more power BECAUSE it's not sealed within a moon-like shape anymore... it still wouldn't be its full power because it's only The End's essence, but it's enough to power up massively a machine already capable to stand against Super Sonic in some capacity.
Funny thing is, Shadow The Hedgehog 2005 was originally supposed to have blood in it and be rated T for Teen but they changed it back to E10+ by removing the blood because they wanted a wider audience range, guess this is another reference to Shadow The Hedgehog 2005 lol
Kinda disappointed the mod doesn't remove the trees around the arena since they can still block your view. That was by far the biggest issue with fight. Also don't really get why they changed the sky color. Orange tinted SS looks much better though
While the higher poly models look amazing & already should've been in the game the island looks....pretty bad. It also takes away the purple tint the End gave when it arrived & instead gave a grey tint which made the climatic looks that was present in the OG fight non-existent. But the higher poly models tho-

Yeah Reshade isn't good. At all. It might make things look a bit nicer when it's not bugging out, but it totally destroys the art direction and intended look of games it's applied to.
How hard was it for you to put The End's monologue in the final battle of the DLC? Nothing. Great job putting the monologue during the battle, it was perfect, especially at the end. But unfortunately even if they had played the monologue, it wouldn't change the decision they made with The End to say that they will never make him return. It's a shame, he was a villain with great potential.
@@sakuradabp6400For me it's fine, in Sonic Adventure 2, Sonic Heroes and Shadow the Hedgehog you could fight with the respective final bosses, listen to songs with vocals while you could hear the characters speak.

@InfiniteCher if you're worried about that, you could do something like text commentary? Though that may get in the way of what's actually going on in the video at places. Both voice and text commentary have thier ups and downs, so, if you want to include any, just choose which commentary style best suits you.

This boss fight is way too easy for me now even on extreme mode, but it’s one of my favorite bosses of all time and this mod made it even better

its a modded fight so things are different
but the mod doesn't effect the finale scene where sonic destroys the end

Besides the Real Time Cutscenes, I used HMM to enable some codes to keep the weather in all moments.

Rain can happen while snow is still on the ground- usually it happens when the temperature is hovering right around the freezing point.
