The Christmas tree had me laughing! I worked for quite a few years in parts and ordered oversees and it’s wild what would come in sometimes due to someone at customs or shipping making a mistake! Great video as usual and awesome job on getting this thing closer to complete!
When i saw the thumbnail i was shocked, thought it was a 1st gen Daewoo Matiz, the M150 model that was sold under Chevi’s badge in Europe as the Chevrolet Spark. Then i noticed 3 wheels… it’s wild that 1998 body with 2000s restilyngis still being made.
Get a roll of ram board from your local building supply place...makes for great templates. Its the paper board stuff they put on to protect your new floors on a new construction project.
I understand they had their differences, but I really enjoyed Jared and Tavarish together ❤️ I'm shocked this page isn't more popular than it is. Your wealth of knowledge about cars is unreal 🙌🏼
Another great episode! I especially enjoyed your reaction to the Christmas tree and seeing you fabricate the motor mounts. Blank/printable card stock from an office supply store sounds like what you need for creating templates. Editor Duane did a great job again with the musical choices for this episode. Thanks again for another entertaining and informative episode and please keep up the awesome work!
Being a long time viewer, I hope you're joking when you say you're not a smart man! Your skill speaks to the opposite, and your down to earth nature, and resourceful problem solving are why I love this channel!
A good tip to mark bolt holes in steel or card/ wood etc is to find bolts with correct thread, cut the head off, sharpen one end to a point , screw the non pointy end in to the threaded holes , hold the steel in position and tap sharply to leave your indentations where to drill.
That ARC droid looks awesome and convenient to have. I wish I had access to something like that and a project to use it. Ain't much goin'on in Morgan County TN
That pretty much looks like a 3 wheeled version of a Daewoo Matiz. At least exterior designwise, because the Matiz has 4 wheels and the engine is at the front.
I would be talking to the folks at CFMoto about possible parts. They make some excellent side-by-side utility vehicles this size and just might have some connections to who made this wee car.
@TheQuestionableGarage Craft paint that you can buy at any dollar store or Wallyworld for the tracing trick instead of a sharpie, Jared. Also, LS swap that thang! 😂
the really odd thing is I think I may have driven this car. a shady little car dealer had one back around 2010 and out of curiosity had to look at the obscure car. it had both the clip above the 3rd headlight and the broken license plate lights. be really curious to see where this all has been in its life
Try using an air hammer with a round head to remove the axle. I fought a Honda cr-v for two days. the sales rep at O'Ryles gave me the tip. took 2 min. LOL

i have visions of somewhere i family has auto parts with christmas tree decorations hanging on them in the corner of their living room
Meanwhile in Santa's workshop: "What in the Holy Christmas is a crank angle sensor?"

Jared, The card Stock you want comes from Cereal boxes. I love them. also, drum head boxes. and construction paper
So close. Thank you, and thank everyone who's helped

while doing "CAD"....., dab of grease or oil on the traced item would help mark the "CAD"
One easy or questionable thing I use are bullet casings for holes for cardboard and gaskets

Empty: Agree.
distance and collaboration requirements got in the way so Freddy handed the channel over - there could be other issues but that's the main thing.
Tavarish sleeping with Aging Wheels Fiancé and walking out on his wife might have been a factor too.
@@raven97990 Yeah, I'd heard something like that. Partly what I meant by "had their differences" 🤷♂️
@@raven97990That's allegedly why a lot of other youtube car guys don't want to work with Freddie anymore.
it's great you're getting the equipment to do the things to fab the rare stuff
I'm actually a little surprised this isn't an Aging Wheels collab.

Jared, you need a profile/contour gauge for fabrication. Traditionally used for woodworking/tiling.
I’ve used them a ton before, just need to add it back to the tool box
The Christmas tree was because you've played Santa before ;)
Awesome and outstanding as always. Thanks for sharing and taking us along.
Glad you enjoyed it
Very interesting ride (car, motorcycle?) and very unique! Thanks for taking us along on getting this repaired!

Kill off the right and left headlights, boost the lumens on the center light, then add a train horn! I can't imagine the fun to be had!

Loving the enthusiasm
16:35 Big cutting mistake. Always cut your inside profiles first, else your material moves.
Actually corrected that in all my later cuts, and realized there is a button to make it automatically do that when you trace!
@@TheQuestionableGarage You would love the trace table we got at work. 6ft x 8ft. Our largest cutting table can do 40 ft.
The arcdroid really can do a ton of awesome stuff I just really need to learn it out. Circles was so easy and I just overlooked it
@@TheQuestionableGarage Computer part of CAD is a glorious rabbit hole. Software package I got for work cost more per year than my car is worth...
Brings me back to my youth. My grandfather in England had a 3 wheel car
The fact that you managed to. Get some parts is amazing 🎉
Cool little ''car''. Looking forward to see it work!
You and me both!
Excellent video as always. This is my favourite TH-cam channel, Jared is a delight to watch

I don't say many things but that is similar to our reliant robin, corner slowly and carefully , 3 wheelers tip over in corners

Daewoo,Chevrolet, Matiz with a single front wheel..The Matiz is front wheel drive..I hope the trike is rear wheel drive..
the normal sharpie is worthless for transferring, The MAGNUM sharpie however is almost as good as transfer paint
Go with the silver tubes. Embrace the assistance!
wish you could do a christmas show with that thing. you got the reindeer.
I would love to see you team up with Redline Ranch and do some lovely Toyota builds esp old 70s and 80s vroom vrooms. 😊

When everything is already in boxes how much worse can it be

Most of this damage appears to be done after it went into storage, it has almost no miles on it.
Careful with them Christmas trees. Get it mad it might turn...coniferous :D
Put the Christmas Tree on the roof and take it to Cleetus's Christmas Tree drags
Use a blob of nail polish to transfer the point from the metal to the cardboard.
Looks like a Citroen/Peugeot o2 sensor connector from 1998-2010 era
