Ma'am you could make a video reading the back of a cereal box, and I'd show up to sit in the front row. Thanks for letting ME have a seat at your table! I feel honored to have a seat. ❤
How .lovely to say this , But a real good way of saying how u feel , I couldn't agree more , I just Love this chanel and cN sit all evening ,watching one vidio after another
This 68 year old finds comfort in your posts. I enjoy sitting and drinking my coffee while you talk about life and dreams. It helps remove me from the ugliness and hate that engulfs so many. I allow my self to get washed up in your garden chores and everyday living.
To see your face in my list of videos, and know you have a new chat coming is so uplifting to this 70+ woman. I feel you're a friend, and talk about what's happening with you to my partner, and my friends, and I don't care if they think I don't have enough in my life or something. Because my mind is stimulated so often, and my heart is always filled when I get to visit with you, it's just that simple. I worry about your health, and love walking through your garden, just as I do all my friends, Jess. I value you, and I know you have thousands of friends like me, and I'm glad.💖
I am so sorry when there is mean people who has a life that they don't have life to enjoy that they have to be mean to someone. I am a Nurse been a nurse since I was 20, now 65. In that time, I was yelled at, screamed, threatened, and so on sad part is that people take out their anger of their self on someone or they just like being mean, sad to say it's true. Please don't let it get at you too much, I know it's hard not to cause your kind, loving, and care about others. So I love you, kindness, gardens, and things that you and your spouse share ❤️. I BLESS YOU ELIZABETH
Your everyday is not only valuable, but precious, as you project friendship and love through your words, voice, honesty and information. I don’t want to see an “influencer’s” supposedly perfect environment, etc. I want real life, real connection, real sharing. Thank you for providing that.
I think I speak for many of your friends, that we would rather watch you make a cup of tea and plant seeds than not at all. So many of us are living vicariously through you!
You brought tears to my eyes. This lonely woman finds so much joy in your videos, especially when you welcome us into your family's life like you did this morning. It means a lot to know that you care enough to just share time with us. You're greatly appreciated! Big love to you and that sweet family. ❤❤❤
Thank you for your cluttered countertop! I always feel so inadequate when I watch lots of videos of others working in the kitchen and their kitchens are so "neat". Thank you for giving me a hug in that very moment!
Dear heart, The reason we all love you like we do is because you are reflecting each and every one of us in one way or another. The gardener, the mom, the wife, the insecure, the boldly brave chick, the worrier, the warrior, the vulnerable, the creative soul, the hot mess on some days, and the "holy cow! How did I do all that?" kinda woman. Please don't let the negative people in this world steal our sunshine! Thank you for being real for all of us, it lets us all know it's ok to let our hair down and do the same. Thank you for showing up every day that you do. I appreciate you.
My fun Aldi story from this week! I have a little girl who just turned two. Now she is primarily with me so we do almost all of our family grocery shopping together. We regularly shop at Aldi. Well for various reasons we hadn't been to Aldi for almost a month. So when I took her out of the car at Aldi a few days ago and she threw both of her little hands in the air and s said "Yay Aldi!". She then made sure that I was excited too her little "Mommy like Aldi?" Melted my heart. Kids are so precious.
I'm a homeschool mom who just had her second baby 9 months ago, living in the depths of the frozen tundra known as Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Most days, your videos are my friendship. The Facebook group is my entertainment. Never discount that! ❤
I appreciate how you mention not needing to worry about criticism and your almost immediately put in a situation where you have to partially show your bedroom which you’ve previously proclaimed to be too messy for sharing with the audience.
You are my number one TH-camr. I have had a seat at your table for many years now and many of you thoughts out loud, mirror my own. May you always be you.
I may not be someone you know one on one but I value being accepted into your world. Sometimes the everyday life videos mean more to me than all the videos where I’ve learned something. Yes we all need to grow gardens and do the self sufficient life style.. but some days.. we just need a friend who’s encouraging us in ways they don’t even know about. That’s Gods hand. I love your friendship and your family.
I remember the days of taking my daughter to the airport at the end of breaks and the emptyness in my heart when she hugged me bye. It is such a weird combination of grief of the leaving you but proud of what they are learning and the amazing humans they have become. I love drinking my coffee while watching you it is like a impromptu coffee date with an old friend.
I understand that you will probably never see this comment! I am a patreon. Do I ever comment on your lives or even on your videos? NO! Tonight on the almost birthday of my firstborn son it was a joy to watch your young boys enjoying their morning beverage. My son is 33 today. I was a single mom for a while. I understand the struggle. Thanks for sharing your life with us and bringing us joy!!❤
You have so many wonderful friends on TH-cam, let those that don’t enjoy your content just move on to something that interest them. WE LOVE YOU THE WAY YOU ARE❤
Nothing you have ever shared has been triggering, offensive, or worth a SINGLE bad feeling. I watch you so much because I DO feel that you care. You inspire, and even if you don’t have a particular nugget of wisdom on one day you turn the camera on, you approach your conversation with such lovely words. I could go on. Never change 🫶🏼
Funnily enough, this is the first video of yours I've watched in a long while. Not because I stopped liking your videos, just because life got complicated and I started to neglect my garden. I also lost a good friend that I used to watch your videos with. But I've recently started getting my hands dirty again, and I felt the call of your video today. I think it is important to remember that something doesn't necessarily have to have a lesson to be meaningful. This morning I couldn't sleep because of my chronic pain and watching your video felt like visiting an old friend. Comfortable and kind and just what I needed. ❤
I absolutely adore you and your “everyday” videos! I love watching you nurture your children. You’ve given me that nurturing feeling again. After being in an abusive marriage, I’d pretty much gotten bitter and decided that I wasn’t going to “tend” a man again. No one was gonna do that to me again. But watching you my darling, how you dote and love on your entire family just made me realize that even if someone doesn’t appreciate it, it’s still good to love and nurture your family. I’ve been cooking more since finding you and Becky. I’m so grateful for you! Please keep including us in your day to day! You’re giving hope sometimes to those of us who may have lost it. Much love ❤️ Tamara
im one of your silent viewers as ive watched you for over 4 years. please dont question your content its valid and relavant as well as informative. just thought you should know
What I can really appreciate about this video is the boys and their innocence and sweet young voices. My boys are now 23 and 18 with super deep voices and I miss their youth and sweet little voices. Luckily God blessed us with one more and we have a 3yr old girl. We cherish every single moment of her laughs and giggles and her sweet voice saying Mama is EVERYTHING to me😊❤
YES! 100% here for the everyday type of content. You have been such a light in my life Jess. God has used you to speak into my life countless times through gardening, being a mom, and the life lessons you share from a poetic heart that feels so kindred. Thank you for being you. Thank you for showing up consistently. I feel you mark the path well. I just turned 30 (my birthday is a few days before yours!) and I have a 2.5 year old daughter who loves watching your videos with me BTW, plus a baby boy due in about a month. So inspired to enter 2024 with what I've learned from you and see God doing in your life. If He can do all that He is through you and Miah, surely He is a God who can use me and my family too. Legacy is my focus this year!
Jess, what you say about a seat at your table is what drew me in when I accidentally found your channel way back in your early days when I was looking for cattle panel trellis ideas. I've been here ever since because I knew you were real, as transparent as safety and privacy allows, and above all a beloved Sister in Christ. Bless you, from soggy Oregon!
I absolutely love Aldi. I will admit it took me awhile to get used to shopping there but I made myself keep going back and each visit I committed to trying one new item. That was about 8 years ago and now I shop almost exclusively there. On the occasion that I have to stop by a different grocery store I am always amazed at how much more expensive groceries are at the other grocery stores. Aldi has saved our family so much money over the years and has been a real blessing with the crazy rate of inflation the past few years. On a side note, thank you for inviting us to your table. I truly believe your channel not only offers wonderful gardening knowledge but it also provides a much needed sense of community.
I am the same way. Took me a while to get used to it but in our rural area (I am saying a 45 mile radius from my house) we have Aldi and Walmart and one,,,,,,,,,yep just ONE grocery store. Our nearest Sam's club (no Costco for miles and miles) is a 100 mile round trip for us. So, I shop Aldi almost exclusively. I love their produce and many things. I still shop Walmart for a few things, but not many. Wish we had a Costco close by. We raise all of our own meat and butcher it and in the summer I have fresh veggies in our garden. I also do a lot of canning so there is that and I make my own bread. No Azure Standard drop near us either. We are basically " out in the middle of nowhere".
❤ Jess, I have been watching you for years now! I'm 71 and have been gardening since my 20s, but I had so many questions and you have been my favorite teacher since watching! When I'm chit-chating about gardening I'll say, "Jess said ... " to the point that you are now part of the family 😊 My daughter will ask "what did Jess say, or what did Jess do?" I watch you every day, and sometimes it is just to relax with my cup of tea, and you have yours and we stroll to your greenhouse to see who we can wish Happy Birthday! So thanks so much for caring and sharing! God bless you ALL down there on the farm!❤
I have kids in their 30's and 40's, believe me, the day will come when you miss the time when everyone was milling around in the kitchen with you. I remember the first time I saw one of your videos, at the end I thought, "Wait, did she say, 'I bless you.' "I rewound it twice and listened to it. I thought, "Well that's nice." So I just want to say I bless you.
Hi Jess! I would love to see another "Devotional VLOG". I haven't seen one from you in a long time and I know you have your own office now, which, I believe, might be a great place to create one of those from you to many of us. As always!
I make cold brew coffee for iced coffee. I bought a fine mesh bag and a glass pitcher. Brew overnight and pour over ice with a bit of liquid Splenda and some HWC.
I love these videos ❤ Just everyday stuff, relaxed, no fancy "put together to be pretty for show ". Just right from the heart, over a cuppa, out in the mud, dirt, at the table or whatever. ❤ Just normal... And to me that's perfect 👌 😊
I totally get what you're saying about critics disproportionately affecting you. I have been a pastor for 45 years, and preaching even longer. I could have 200 people say, thank you. That message really blest me. One person could say, that sermon was awful. And that one criticism will haunt me the rest of the day, and will terrorize my sermon prep the next week. Listen Jess, you have no idea how much your channel fed me during our last tour in Scotland. You were how I kept up on homesteading in America. You, Miah and the kids. It's like watching my family, and we've never actually met. Thank you very much for what you do.
Jess, every video and I mean every video you do is valuable. You uplift people with this kind of video as much as your teaching videos. You teach us , you make us ponder, wonder, laugh and most of all smile along with you. One of your biggest gifts is that we all consider you a true friend even having not met you. ❤😊
Thank you so much for your morning glimpse of your beautiful family. It’s really delightful to see the joy you share. Simple things are the best things. A cup of warm tea, hot coffee or chilled cold coffee. Thank you for sharing you. It’s 7° where I live and I’m preparing to go out to do chores. I watched you while I tidied up my kitchen, have a beautiful day! May God bless you richly!❤
Love your videos, whether it’s just a chat or something more “valuable.” I feel the chats are more inviting and interesting but regardless I am always appreciative of any video that you spend time doing for us! Love you! ❤
I could write a book! Please don't stop your current content, I love, love, love your platform and I know thousands of us do! And I can not say don't change, I am saying that you pick what day what topic, then the next day take us to a delivery of a calf, show us your children smiling and having fun. Absolutely you could add different content, and WE ARE GOING TO LOVE YOU ANYWAY!! Never put all of your eggs in one basket 😮. You, my friend, are incredibly intuitive to your family, animals, and 2 business + Jeremiahs.you roll and be surprised when your group follows you everywhere and on major topics but you got this!!!! Try it if you don't like it, well there is s lot to fall back on!!! You are super grounded...I am not nervous, I am excited to get any content, this is MY BLESSING to get to see you!!!
This video blessed me with your trip to Aldi’s the cat toy, the garden planner and your sons making their morning beverage! I’m a Grammie in So. Cal and your kids are so blessed to live the life you’re giving them. But towards the end you were in your beautiful garden house and you talked about negative remarks. I too am so sensitive to that, but many of us DO want to hear your daily happenings! I do feel part of your community and keep being yourself-you are loved and appreciated from this ‘ole Grammie.❤
Please keep sharing. It warms me heart when I see your videos pop up. I love your sweet voice filling my living space and my heart. Encouraging me teaching me loving me from afar. Even tho til this day I have yet to embrace you physically, please know I can still feel the warmth of your “blessings until next time”. So sweet Jessica until the day when I am able to enjoy a wonderful cup of coffee or tea with you in person. I’ll enjoy it with you from 733 miles away. And I thank you for being you. Be Blessed. 🙏❤️
I thoroughly enjoy listening to your day today and you have great value and this is coming from a 66-year-old born again Christian woman who has homesteaded for 46 years. You're wonderful. There will always be complainers so you just have to let it go. Trust in the Lord he put you here. 👃
I love your at home videos!!! You may not think you are providing value but you are. Wholesome day to day family life is the most valuable and it reminds us to treasure life. 😊
Before I even watch this - THANK YOU! It's been such a challenging 2 weeks!. My dad fell multiple times so I flew home from Cancun to California to be with him. Things initially were really bad with malnourishment and extreme dehydration but we got news from the doctor today all's wrong is some lower back pain because I have been pumping him with food and electrolytes that he's finally eating and without me cajoling prompting or something. So when I opened up my TH-cam after I just got him to bed I said JESS!! GIMME SOME JESS N MIAH!! And here you are 🥹🙏🥰 so grateful ❤❤
Jess, your day in a life videos are my favorites. I love having a seat and your table. Most people probably find you through an informative video but I have a feeling most of us stay because we feel like friends. ❤
I love your everyday! Your sweet family is precious. These days are amazing, and so so brief. Thank you for sharing everything. I bless YOU until next time. Amen.
I appreciate your videos. They have been such a source of joy in this sometimes crazy and uncertain world. They always calm my spirit and give me hope! Thank you! 🌻🌻🌻❤❤❤🌻🌻🌻
Personally I loved this blog just as much as I love the more animal/gardening oriented vlogs. Just keep doing what you are doing and I for one will always watch your videos as they bring me joy 😊
I care and love your everyday! It’s lets me reset my thoughts and choose the wonderful feeling I get when I see and hear your everyday and then I don’t let the other “stuff” creep in. Thank you ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I love seeing your day to day content. It makes you approachable & real. Its not just a facade to get ratings. You've encouraged me so much in so many ways & I thank you. ❤
Awe, I do love your authenticity and the glimpses you share of your everyday life! There's no shame in a mess, because it means you're living! As much as it would be nice to have a sparkling clean and organized home, I'm not willing to pay the price it would cost. With my energy levels, I'd much prefer time with my partner, kids, and grandkids, my garden, chickens, and crafts 😉😉😂😂💕💕
Gotta share my ALDI story. We don't have ALDI in the Pacific Northwest. I've read about them many times on Money Conscience Blogs. When I went to the Abundance + event last year, I was driving somewhere when I saw my 1st ALDI. I quick did a U-turn and went in to see what all the hype was about. I photographed pomegranates that were 99 cents each. They are nearly 3X that here. The other thing that left an impression was how small the store was.
I think Aldi is a great place to bless someone in the parking lot via the cart system. Someone older & less mobile then me...someone that's about to get their child from the cart to the carseat...."I'll buy your cart from you (25 cents)." I take their cart & they don't have to walk back to the store. AND Aldi has very good chocolate. 😁
I agree that just a little chit chat with a friend is important. It makes us little people feel like we matter in the big picture of the TH-cams. More personal. Plus who doesn't love learning about beverages lol
Hi Jess I am 70 years old recovering from a stroke. I watch you all the time. I wish I could meet you in person and give you a hug but it will probably never happen. You inspire me everytime I watch you. God gave you this calling. Please keep it up. And Miah also you two are a good pair. God blessed you both.
Oh gosh, when you talked of giving us a seat at your table I really teared up and realised that is what attracts me to what you share. I love all the valuable lessons but love any ramblings just as much and with as much appreciation xxxxx
I have been following since 2018, since those summer garden walk throughs (I still revisit those from time to time). I’m not someone who comments often but want to transmit to you the impact you’ve had on my mental health. How inviting us to your table has made me smile and giggle but also made me reflect and look deeper into my soul. A simple “tag along” through videos, podcasts, blogs or books has brightened my years for almost 6 years. Thank you. ❤️ PS: May this be the comment that comes back to you later, not the mean one.
I love today's video with the everyday happenings with the boys. It's much like what you used to do way back when I started to watch you. Just Jess, Miah ,and the kids being a loving family. Please give us more day to day and I love the cooking on Farmer's Table and Miah's Workshop!!!! Hugs to all of you:):):):) P.S. Our temperature today is -33 degrees and this frost tender flower is in need of some Beulah coffee....lol! BRRRRRR
Even though you don't know me, I know you and consider you my friend. I too wax poetic but on a much smaller scale garden. I love your sweet heart and kind soul. You and sweet Miah are dear to my heart and soul. I pray for you and I love all your videos. Each one is like a precious treat. Thank you Jess for all that you do and how you have inspired me to continue my love of gardening. God Bless you.
I started watching your videos a few ago because I wanted to learn how to grow tomatoes. Along the way I’ve grown to be emotionally invested in your homestead and family like I’m a Great Aunt you didn’t know you had. I came for the tomato’s but I stayed because of you. I’m an ADHD/ dyslexic mom of an Autistic son and a PTSD disabled military veteran husband trying to live a self sufficient life as possible. I get so much much strength and inspiration from watching you just live your life the best way you know how. Thank you for sharing it❤️
ME! I enjoy your everyday content of just bringing us along! -yet I have never felt it was ‘not of value!’ Every video teaches me something! Thank you for everything! Ignore the negativity! ❤
Ma'am you could make a video reading the back of a cereal box, and I'd show up to sit in the front row. Thanks for letting ME have a seat at your table! I feel honored to have a seat. ❤
Lol yes me too.
MeThree,Because You Are You and Authentic
Amen!
Yup, that's exactly right for me as well.

What a beautiful comment.💕
Well said "my friend".❤🫂
I am also 70+, and I couldn’t have said this better! Thanks Gale!
I’m 70 and feel the same 😊
Yes, keep it up Jess! I like the everyday stuff, you being real is why we are here!
Your everyday is not only valuable, but precious, as you project friendship and love through your words, voice, honesty and information.
I don’t want to see an “influencer’s” supposedly perfect environment, etc. I want real life, real connection, real sharing.
Thank you for providing that.
Let your light shine, Jess. It's beautiful.
I love having a seat at your table. You are a light in this dark world. Keep shining. ❤
I love your everyday chats and sharing and seeing your boys. Never stop doing that. It warms my heart.
I think I speak for many of your friends, that we would rather watch you make a cup of tea and plant seeds than not at all. So many of us are living vicariously through you!
It’s like when you’re talking to a friend on the phone while you’re doing your laundry. ❤😊
Thank you for keeping it real and inviting us to your table. I am blessed by you and your kind words!

On a side note, thank you for inviting us to your table. I truly believe your channel not only offers wonderful gardening knowledge but it also provides a much needed sense of community.
I’m with you, it took me awhile to get used to Aldi but now it’s a go to for shopping.
Agreed 😊 Aldi is my go to for fast in, fast out on the basics.
This is so true
I have kids in their 30's and 40's, believe me, the day will come when you miss the time when everyone was milling around in the kitchen with you.
I remember the first time I saw one of your videos, at the end I thought, "Wait, did she say, 'I bless you.' "I rewound it twice and listened to it. I thought, "Well that's nice." So I just want to say I bless you.
Ooo lucky us a lil late night blog from Jess 🥰
"To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow". I'd call that incredibly inciteful! Very nice:)
Gooood evening from central Florida! Hope everyone has a great night!
I said this a while back… Your character makes for great content 😊
Jess, every video and I mean every video you do is valuable. You uplift people with this kind of video as much as your teaching videos. You teach us , you make us ponder, wonder, laugh and most of all smile along with you. One of your biggest gifts is that we all consider you a true friend even having not met you. ❤😊
Exactly ❤
Agree!!
The best part of your videos at the moment is the frogs croaking in the silence. It just touches my soul
This is my favorite type of video. The ones where you just feel invited in for awhile. Thanks so much for sharing. 💕
Be Blessed. 🙏❤️
Aww it's like visiting a friend. I love seeing the family life sharing warm beverages ☕️
I love these kind of videos! Real life. Thanks for sharing the small moments with us!
I always love hanging out with Roots and Refuge.
I thoroughly enjoy listening to your day today and you have great value and this is coming from a 66-year-old born again Christian woman who has homesteaded for 46 years. You're wonderful. There will always be complainers so you just have to let it go. Trust in the Lord he put you here. 👃
As someone who has watched every video for the past 5ish years, I hope you take comfort in that I will always enjoy these 'catch up' type videos!
I can't turn off a video without being blessed by you, thank you x
Love your videos, Jess! I will share one of my favorite quotes with you "No one can make you feel inferior without your consent" Eleanor Rosevelt.
Thank you! 🌻🌻🌻❤❤❤🌻🌻🌻
No Aldi's here in NS Canada. But there wasn't Walmart nor Home Depot nor Costco and now there is....sooooo time will tell!
Please don’t quit. I love your videos. I love listening to your devotional videos too. I want to be your neighbor. ❤
Thank you ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
These are my favorite videos. Your videos have brought so much peace to this chaotic world!
We definitely care about your everyday,Jess! ❤
The most charming thing on any channel for me is the blessing you say over us. It is why I came back and very loving
Hey Jess...authenticity is everything you have that in spades...I ❤❤❤ everything you share n I thank you. Ur the GOAT...Love from Oz
I love seeing your day to day content. It makes you approachable & real. Its not just a facade to get ratings.
You've encouraged me so much in so many ways & I thank you. ❤
I just love hearing what is going on. Your family by proxy has become my family. I thank you for that.
I love Aldi!! The end!
You being you is the best. Down to earth. Consistency is important.
I love sitting at your table. It is great to be your friend.
Thank you. ❤️
PS: May this be the comment that comes back to you later, not the mean one.
Thank you ♥️♥️
Yes. Agreed.✅
The beauty inside that magnificent greenhouse?❤😊
Your Da best! Please never stop being you. Your smile lights us up. And even your hard days getting give us hope in tomorrow. God bless you and yours!
BRRRRRR
Aldi is my store of choice because I can get a good 5 bags of groceries for $100.
we buy at Aldi's frequently😊
what a pretty kitty, and your everyday and your family are gorgeous and wonderful
Every time I get new seedlings, I say “Happy Birthday Little guys “ ❤ can that be a sticker ?or Tee ? 😊
Your everyday is my favorite! I love the family stuff. Another favorite is you saying Happy Birthday to your seedlings!!! lol
I value what you have to say! Because you say it so well! You have a gift I love listening to your valued words! Thank You friend!
Oh yes...If you go to Aldi, always check to see what they have in the "aisle of sham". lol
Aww sweet William lol
