- Buying and Fishing with the WORST RATED Walmart Fishing Gear.. There are some fishing products with some sketchy reviews.. Are these Walmart Fishing products a SCAM?? Are they actually bad? Can we catch some fish with them? We head out to go fishing in north Florida with a mission - catch whatever bites! Will these 1 Star Walmart Fishing Products surprise us? I think Walmart's biggest failure when it comes to the fishing section is not making sure that the employees who attend to that area actually know about fishing. Otherwise they don't really know to rotate the worms and throw out the bad ones. I've had to teach a few employees about fishing basics too cause they didn't know how to answer the question another customer asked. lol
I absolutely agree with this - thankfully I know my way around fishing but I had a question about a specific fishing pole and he had no idea I was like bruh lol
My ex girlfriend works at our walmart and we fish together, best friends. Our sporting goods department manager knows NOTHING about any sport whatsoever.
My ex gf had to inform her that the handles on spinning combo reels weren't broken, they are folded down for transport and have to be tightened down AND can have their sides switched to left or right hand retrieve. She was ready to send back about 40 spinning combos in the store thinking the handles were broken. Then she thought the baitcasters were all broken because you couldn't switch the sides for the handle. This broad was D-U-M-B!
Most of what is on the shelf is sent by home office but the department manager can order certain items, and any ozark trail item. She was ordering some items because she liked how they looked or smelled or felt to her i wanted some ozark trail baits to try out and she refused to order anything in june bug because "purple and green don't match", didn't wanna order the perch colored ozark trail lipless crankbaits because the coloration was "too busy" and was sure the gold/black would meet my needs better.

This was hands down one of your best video....had me in stitches when you were going through the reviews and walking around wally world. Those worms being moldy are standard at most walmarts.

Also I feel when you are Texas rigging, dont set the hook to the side. Straight back up towards you where the rod tip would be towards the sky is the best in my own experience.

ive gotten way worse of worms. i went to a gas station in my area and was gonna get worms when i opened the package to check for mold the worst smell ive ever smelt was there. the entire thing was covered in mold. ALL OVER THE PLACE!!!!

i like your mixup of fresh and salt, esp for people like me that live in freshwater areas, but can only fish saltwater during "vacations". Cool to see the experimentation of all these different products if they work or not, entertaining at the least

My Walmart on Centerville Rd in Delaware... Either they dump 3 into one container or they're dead... So gotta check because they dump into one and buy it and leave empty ones... People that don't fish a lot would just grab them and go... So I think they should have them locked up or just go to Cabela's or local bait shop might be more but will be worth it

I' have found that if you thread your worm through the middle with the hook and leave a small portion left after pushing the tip of the hook through the side of the worm your catch ratio will increase. It will also save you're warm because the fish will push the worm up the hook when they bite
About time you did some pond fishing. Go somewhere where there are some peacock bass.

Along with creekfishingadventures, I have witnessed bass and crappie “nose” a bait and would more often than not, pick the scented baits over non scented.
Also, dollar general now carries fishing gear. Yours might or might not have them yet but there are multiple kits along with a rod/reel combo kit. I’ve already made a video on it and it’s trash lol

Creative content! I appreciate the time and effort that goes into these videos. I've fished with that pocket combo before and it was fine so I'm not surprised it did get some good ratings and I'm sure the bad ratings were just that when ordered online, they sent the wrong thing completely. I've had that experience with a couple things on Amazon and I would only consider it worth a rating or feedback if the wrong thing was shipped multiple times, to eliminate the possibility of it being a fluke.
when im not catching anything i throw a wacky rig or texas rig and usually that keeps the skunk away.
My favorite fish of this summer is either my new pb channel catfish 9lbs or my new pb bass 3 lbs btw I’m in Nebraska so 3lbs is pretty big

Save that bait spray for when your fly fishing for stocked trout.Spray it on a streamer like a Wooly Bugger. The minnow one works REALLY well for bass and pickerel on soft plastics.

walmart ordering has snuck in their system that if they are out of what you ordered they will replace it with something else. you have to uncheck that box and indicate that they are not to replace your item with something similar or you will get something you did not order about 100% of the time (at least at every walmart i have ordered from). as long as you catch that sneaky little box and uncheck, shouldnt be an issue
Yeah I Can tell you spent more time on the editing here, also fun idea. With walmart you might want to check if it is a 3rd party seller or actually direct from walmart. You can get burned from third party.
I can attest those worms are trash. It’s best to buy local worms.

Honestly walmart has become questionable bout a month ago i ordered an abu garcia max x spinning combo because a trout rod of mine broke and they sent me a rod that was broken and the tip wasnt in the box so they sent it with the tip broken off it was missing 2 eyelets

Salamander lures are underrated. Instinctively they are the Bass’s enemy since in the wild salamanders will eat their eggs. Bass will attack them on sight.

Smash some garlic and put it in your baits over night and that'll add some stink helps especially with trout
Do some freshwater catch and cooks in florida! We have some of the biggest bluegill and red ear you can find.
