The best way to get people to recognize him is to have someone carrying bats, trip and send a bat flying in the patron's direction only for Guillorme to catch in the air thus saving their life

I love all the big-time Mets players and the future HOFers we have currently on our team, but Luis Guillorme is something else. That man is so special in every way, wish he could get the full playing time!
Everyone talks about getting a big bat and you have Luis that’s not really a home run hitter but bats near 300, hits for contact and rarely strikes out. He should play everyday with his gold glove caliber defense as well.

McNeil is not a utility player. He is our regular 2B, batting champion and top 3 2B in the MLB.
@@NG-jj3en I'm not sure you understand what a utility player is. I know McNeil's accolades. He can and has played multiple positions on the infield as well as in the outfield. Guillorme has played short, third and second. There are options. Again, it's not either/or.

Guillorme is such a gem. One of the beloved players of the 2022 team. Just played out of his mind throughout the season. Got to love the defense he played. There's no style points for defensive swagger, but the game should have it, and Guillorme would be #1 in the league.

That was funny. I would of noticed him right away. It was funny that he held up his own Jersey to fans up to his face and no notice lol. He can be one of the missing puzzles to our lineup, not a big bopper, but a scrappy hitter that rarely strikes out. A gold glove caliber defense as well. I’m a fan of him and people like McNeil that hit for a high average and can hit all fields. Put him in the lineup. Keep him there. The kid wanted a Phillies hat, you want a Mets hat right? Lol

@New York Mets I’ve met Guillorme twice in the minors. First time was a playoff game between Binghamton and Trenton, I sat near the on deck circle and was complaining that the Binghamton offense was slacking, he was the on deck batter and tried to hand me his bat. Next year he recognized me and signed my ball in Syracuse. Do you think he still remembers me?

He gets enough playing time at 2B when Squirrel plays in the OF, and at 3B when Escobar needs a rest, is injured, or in a slump. He's also the go-to defensive replacement in late innings.
