The captain has been getting leaps and bounds better at guitar through this past year. It's been a joy watching him build more confidence with the instrument.
being the owner of a 60s classic vibe. from Sire you get rolled frets, bone nut, rosewood board, and a satin finish neck, block saddles, cutaway for your hand. such a good deal!!!
I am primarily a guitar player, but when I wanted a bass I bought a Sire. It’s insane how well it’s built for the money. I think Sire is definitely the best bang for the buck brand out there.
I agree 100% with that Chord. I also am a bass player primarily but i do also play guitar. I bought a Sire bass and it is now my Main Instrument of choice. Excellent build quality and it sounds and plays Great. Love the neck profile. it's just a joy to play.
Just got my Sire T3 today. It plays and sounds great like I expected. I'm really happy with the purchase. For $399 (in the US), it provides unbelievable value comparing to something like a Fender Player Telecaster, which retails for $850 at the moment. I have played the Player Telecaster in the stores many times and I'm pretty sure Sire T3 beats it in almost every single way, specs, build quality, playability, etc. You are essentially paying more than double for the Fender brand IMO.
No arguments here, but the Player Tele sounds great, better than any Sire Tele. But for the less than the price difference you can get better quality pickups than the Player has anyway.

At one time I owned various guitars ranging from Custom Shop Fender, Aristides, Gibson , Gretsch to Mexican Fenders and budget Ibanez. Due a personal economic disaster and COVID, I had to sell them all to pay my bills. I recently purchased a Sire S3 and I have to say I am very pleased with this guitar. Such quality at this price point is amazing. Is it a custom shop, not quite but for difference in price I am very impressed. The head stock design is not a deal breaker for me, but to each his own.

Great guitars skills are part of it, but it's the relaxed, friendly and inclusive (to the viewer) attitude that makes watching your videos so enjoyable.
Between the S3 and a Squire you have a better fretboard, better body materials, more modern carve, a finish on the neck that makes it easier to play and a better trem. Between the two unless you are absolutely married to the tradional strat configuration I really don't see a reason not to chose the Sire.
Just purchased the T3 Sonic Blue from Andertons on sale for £280 !!! By far, the best buy for buck out there. Top notch in every department, the bridge twang is awesome.
I just try both because I wanted a Silver Sky SE and, surprisingly, the Sire felt WAY better in terms of feeling, quality and comfort. I disliked the neck of the SS, chunkier than expected and that poplar body... Too light, didn't feel solid. Sad. I didn't bought the Sire btw... But I have to admit since then, I think about that Sire a lot. So... Maybe... We'll see.
