    India's so-called Hindutva movement is boiling down to focus on winning elections after elections for one particular party.
    We people who want to see a Hindu India flourish and prosper need to now understand that BJP is just like any other party and that it will take lobbying and putting pressure to get the policies that we want like freeing of Hindu temples or changes in Education. If need be, we should come out on the streets too!

      @jojobabok9373 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @Born Again Harrapan In India, if Modi swore his oath on the Bhagavad Gita, what do you think the media & public reaction would be?
      The US doesn't give holidays on the festivals of religions other than Christianity & Judaism.
      A Christian missionary's representative sits on their "Religious Freedom Commission".
      Face it: The US is categorically less secular than India.
      Also, you ABSOLUTELY cannot dismiss symbolism. There are many Hindus who are otherwise secular, but want to see their nation represented symbolically by their own cultural heritage. Why can't they get that here? Why are they shamed into admiring a marble graveyard built by out-groupers as their national monument (after the latter destroyed so much)?
      Most of the Hindutva activism would subside, if we got what they (the Western nations) have. Until then, it's better to recognize conflict & proliferate interests.

    I dont think saying Hindu nationalism, because the term Hindu can be interpreted with civilizational sense, not as per exclusivist religious meaning as Mr. Sood is saying. Even if we bring Hinduism religion as the underpinning of Hindu nationalism, it is not exclusive of others as the Abrahamic faiths, rather it is inclusive by nature.

    Han nationalism is not based on one blood , language and culture either -- like most manufactured ideas , in China - there are vast regional differences in DNA in different regions like Inner Mongolia , Tibet , Sichuan , Guangdong , Hubei etc etc. Each of these provinces have a different language , different culture even different ways of thinking. The divide between Northern Chinese and Southern Chinese is very well known , documented and spoken about. The only thing that large, so called single ethnic countries like Russia , China do - to remain united , is use authoritarian measures. In that respect if India can achieve equal or even better unity through spreading an ideology like -- Hindutva , then that means India has been more successful than any of these traditionally large empire -like countries. Things are moving in the right direction after centuries. The Western countries use the construct of "race" to maintain order in their nations. Likewise we can use a cultural construct - Hindutva to achieve order.

It's unfortunate that even after 74 years of Independence we are still discussing & analyzing Nationalism.

    That's the thing India does not have any rigid principles, India exactly reflects a Hindu state, the nature of sanatan dharma is to accommodate anything under the sun, problem arises wen sum elements consistently try to attact the dharam that accomadates n adapts(n s our policy makers n dalas destroyed the true idea of India with their unreasonable policies, esp gandhis n local parties) . Even on individual level we r so diverse one feels praying to just Lord shiva is hindu enough, one feels by following just Geeta he can consider himself a hindu, ul find seekers, n also serving makind will justify his right to b a Hindu. So we can never frame a rigid set of goals for a Hindu state. There r just brief guidelines we shud luk upto, dharma n right balance of everything (its the core principle of nature n sanatan dharm). Personally I feel that without the idea of nationalism we ll fall apart, it's the pillar of our existence as a state, the institutions which r massively influenced by flawed Liberal ideologies, left, communism n western ideas are overlooking this fact. They take pride in safeguarding a single individual At a time, but wat they r doing is fuelling the elements that are crushing the nationalists n the idea of nationalism.

    Lots of incorrect statements about China. China doesn't have 1 language, it has many. The Chinese government cleverly classifies many as "dialects" but in fact they are in fact distinct languages since they are incomprehensible by those speaking other dialects. China also peddles their unity in diversity with a quiet Han Nationalism driving things in the background. India is more or less moving in the same direction. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Languages_of_China . Read this Wikipedia entry on Mandarin: "Many varieties of Mandarin, such as those of the Southwest (including Sichuanese) and the Lower Yangtze, are not mutually intelligible or are only partially intelligible with the standard language. Nevertheless, Mandarin is often placed first in lists of languages by number of native speakers (with nearly a billion)."

    • @BigOil18
      @BigOil18 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      China is ultrasensitive about certain things - a quest to show unity of their nation and a desire to be #1 in everything so they added distinct languages all as "Mandarin" and surprise Mandarin is then the largest spoken language on Earth. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mandarin_Chinese

    Hindu Nationalism/Hinduism is currently seen as bad, like never before, in Western World, thanks to hinduphobic propoganda, especially since 2016, by Global (and Indian) Islamoleftist Nexus.
    To counter that, We should portray it against Han Nationalism. Western people just hate CCP, if we can establish Han Nationalism as the Cause of Xi/CCP's Aggressive Policies, Hindu Nationalism would surely look much favorable in front of Han Nationalism. And Hopefully resulting in less attacks on Hindus and Hindu Culture, as there'll be more focus on Han Nationalism,
    But for that, Indian people should use terms like "Han Nationalism" as much as possible on Social Media platforms, that Media houses and Think Tanks can grab that term, and REPORT tweets and posts having terms like Hindu Nationalism on Social Media platforms whenever you see. Also while using Han Nationalism, blame it as the Cause of CCP's Aggressive Policies.
    Abhinav, please next time use - Hindu Nationalism "Vs" Han Nationalism, instead of Han Nationalism "&" Hindu Nationalism.
    Show Hindu Nationalism, against Han Nationalism.

Technically this must not be acceptable to Indian communist but unfortunately the leaders are lured by the largesse disbursed generously..... luckily the communist are a fading force in India & even in pockets where there's influences like in kerala they're in coalition & electoral success is sustaining by adopting cultural practices like ramayana reciting & yoga's admist the cadres....

If PM Manmohan Singh was there India would have been a 5 Trillion dollar economy by now and would have handled China and Pakistan intelligently and diplomatically.. PM Modi's Govt seems to be on a weak wicket vis a vis economy and reason why China and Pakistan seem to be provoking India time and again..

      PM manmauni baba rule had it been extended from the 2012 policy paralysis we'd have hit 2% growth rate and civil society collapse easily today. Not to forgot the terrorism and blasts which would have been a routine effort with full on corruption and freebies.

    English must be outlawed permanently
    In place of this artificial language, Samskritim should be lingua franca.
    Aryavart can't be united without Samskritim

      I support Sanskrit being the official language of India but whats that about banning english bro? Why? The problem is not with English, its with us, don't hate English which has its benefits, hate our own colonized mindset.

      @@NatrajChaturvedi I don't hate English.
      To remove the problem, you have to hit on its root.
      English needs to be permanently banned it was imposed on Aryas forcibly.
      It's our right to ban all those things imposed on us forcefully.
      Benefits? 😅
      It has zero benefit, it's stealing intellectual property, confusing youth, destroying native culture.

    India should break up into about 40 separate countries. Smaller countries will be easier to govern thus allowing for a higher standard of living for everyone.

      You realize, how easily Islamic Pakistan to your west (and east also earlier) would have gobbled you up? Without a Large standing Military force, (which is only possible when you are one huge united country) you have no chance against the aggressive and hostile neighbours you have!!
