Former tower here based in Australia. Used to tow a lot of beemers, mercs porsche audi etc. Used wooden blocks like you as they are all low cars. They also mostly have kits on them (spoilers etc) but they all have a tow hook built into the chassis at the front. It's accessed by removing a small plastic/f'glass click off panel. We usually wrapped the small J hook in a rag to protect the kit while winching. Takes a bit of time but happy customer equals more business. Enjoyed your video, thanks.
Owners of Corvettes are very picky. It's funny I mention loading my Corvette on my rollback and here you are showing me how it's done. I was happy to see you can use the stinger to stabilize the bed. I wasn't sure about that.

Trust me it’s as easy as it looks you can’t learn if you don’t try just use the burning desire oz is with you in your hardest moments!! I’ve done a few lowered car videos I’ll do one with hellcat no keys 🪝💪
Chances are with something so simple as a simple break down tow for a "luxury" vehicle or low vehicle, etc. If you are the only one doing the simple job, It's because you are getting suckered into doing it, In my experience, no one wants to pay for the extra work and liability that comes with these vehicles so they won't be run by me. I've got airbags and a good load angle, I wouldn't even need boards for this so it'd be no big deal, but the lower ones I won't do for the same fee, They will pay more or they will sit and wait for someone else.

you just need 2*6 5ft long and make a hole in the wood and bed and get a pin to lock in together never ever move up or down again! if you towing Lamborghini add extra 4 foot wood and lock in to the other wood with the pin that’s it
Yah I was thinking of that kind of set up I try to keep extra wood for different kinds of situations always comes in handy doing recoveries and general towing 🪝

The soft straps have small j hooks if they do the c4 will most Corvettes even the new one now I think the c3 doesn't have them and you have to use a big j hook or an endless loop for the control arm but behind the front tire near the rocker panel feel under there and you'll see an oval shaped hole that's where the baby j will go put them on there make sure the straps far enough forward where the cable hookup to your bridal is it bouncing on the oil pan it will definitely break it👍
Pro tip.. and I kno u do this job day in and day out and we all got our own way of doing things….. but going under a 3500pound car IN NEUTRAL and ON WOOD RAMPS, NEVER put urself under the car like that man. I’ve seen soooooo many ppl get hurt on simple things that go left
Instead of all the wood just flip your skies upside down roll car up skies because they like ramps when you have em upside down and 2 pieces of 2x6 I do it all the time fast better than using all that extra wood

Absolutely u can always try to find a tow company with a low pro bed and truck with air drop on top of that throw a few boards down or ramps!
The car has tow hooks at the front…why use the suspension to pull on the car???

We towed vettes with a sling and corvette bars before there were beds. You guys today have it too easy.

Slots in this case I used the axle straps they loop around control arm clamp to themselves
