I use liqui moly.. In winters 5w30 works just fine if the engine is internally healthy.. in summers 10w40 is more suitable as the car tends to consume little bit of oil..

Once I read, there is no fix millage for oil change as oil loose viscosity upon usage but companies tries their best that oil shouldn't loose it's viscosity before 3000 kilometers that's why vehicle manufacturers write in manual check oil regularly, oil is needed to be changed when it shows drop on oil stick that means oil viscosity is on loose and needed to be changed, as driving behavior changes oil viscosity lose duration changes. Mostly I change my vehicle oil upon above described theory and my cars engines are OK. May be I am wrong or might be lucky. Keep up the good work.
I have premio 2010 1.8 2zr engine since last 8 years when i bought it it had only 8 thousand kilometres done. And i'm using fully synthetic 5w30 since i bought the car now it has 1 lac 59 thousand kilometres on odo and i'm still using 5w30 fullysenthetic and i change it at 6 every thousand kilometres with genuine oil filter. As far as my knowledge goes . Viscosity depends on the weather . Like in karachi summer weather temperature goes to about 42c . Tu m hamesha 20w50 dlawata hun takay oil thin na ho. Agr temperature 40 above ya 30 above nahin jata tu mein 10w40 ya 10w30 use krta . In other words , agr last digits say temperature zyada hojaiga tu oil thin hojaega aur agr temperature first digits say nechay jaiga tu thick hojaega jo k oil sahi travel nhin krpaega and that leads to premature wear.

I Have a Honda city 2006.. 165000 km driven.. i recently changed oil (10w40) ....but just after running 1000 km its level dropped to lower limit. Hi Very good info I have new Alto 660cc AGS Owner manual of this car show 10W40 and also pak Suzuki recommending the same but I have seen on different forums that people are recommending 0W20 and Japan's Alto 660cc owner manual also recommending 0W20. Can you confirm that 10W40 is good for my car or not because here in Pakistan all Suzuki workshops are recommending 10W40 and they are not ready to por 0W20. Please do correction in your video about imported engine oil. They are equally suitable to cars in pakistan as compared to local oil. Even better because imported one has more additives to protect engine and good performance. recomended Viscosity grade of oil is necessary.
My 2010 Toyota Camry 2.5L 4 cylinder 2AR-FE engine only lasted 510,*** KM using only Mobil1 fully synthetic 0w20 until 2 Lakh KM than switched to 5w20 for another 2 Lakh KM and than 5w30 Mobil1 or Castrol EDGE fully synthetic. I took good care of my car. I was sad when my engine started a very loud rod knock at 5 Lakh KM.

When changing to thicker PLEASE DO NOT CHANGE the W section of the car like switching from 5w to 10w to 20w etc.

Please do correction in your video about imported engine oil. They are equally suitable to cars in pakistan as compared to local oil. Even better because imported one has more additives to protect engine and good performance. recomended Viscosity grade of oil is necessary.

My 2010 Toyota Camry 2.5L 4 cylinder 2AR-FE engine only lasted 510,*** KM using only Mobil1 fully synthetic 0w20 until 2 Lakh KM than switched to 5w20 for another 2 Lakh KM and than 5w30 Mobil1 or Castrol EDGE fully synthetic. I took good care of my car. I was sad when my engine started a very loud rod knock at 5 Lakh KM.

1: I have 2008, 1.3 Vitz I am using Shell HS6 10W-30 but I notice reduced drop in average Km/L ⛽ should I switch to 5W-30? As I belongs to Swat where weather is cold now.
2: What should be the interval of oil change for both 10W-30 and 5W-30 of Shel oil.

Probably valve seals ka issue hai. Jab tak chal raha hai chalao isko. Cold start per smoke Koi bari problem nahi.
