  • The Cuban Revolution was an armed revolt conducted by Fidel Castro's revolutionary 26th of July Movement and its allies against the military dictatorship of Cuban President Fulgencio Batista.
The revolution began in July 1953, and continued sporadically until the rebels finally ousted Batista on 31 December 1958, replacing his government. In June 1955, Fidel met the Argentine revolutionary Ernesto "Che" Guevara, who joined his cause.
26 July 1953 is celebrated in Cuba as the Day of the Revolution.
The 26th of July Movement later reformed along Marxist-Leninist lines, becoming the Communist Party of Cuba in October 1965.
The Cuban Revolution had powerful domestic and international repercussions.
In the immediate aftermath of the revolution, Castro's government began a program of nationalization, centralization of the press and political consolidation that transformed Cuba's economy and civil society.

@David Garcia, where did you find that in the video? I haven't said that they can't kill or can kill. I said that they killed. That's it

@@KindaMindSet the part at 9:00 when you say “now we have to shoot everyone who opposes us” the line right before that is fine, because you say kill the political opposition. But the first sentence implies that he was bloodthirsty and a mindless killer. If that’s true, look at the USA’s body count. What are they if not bloodthirsty killers?

@David Garcia, yes, the US started a lot of wars. but the video isn't about the US
