      Good stuff, practice your layups and defense around the paint. Learn how to protect the baseline because gaurds from the corner go there alot

    Thanks for the series. This stuff is good. BTW I still can't digest how Charles Barkley could DOMINATE as a PF with his height, in the era of giant PFs and not to mention golden era of Centers.

    It's really tuff being power forward or a big man in general in young ages. I am 12 and am a power forward for my team, but I can not predict my height so I still gotta be ready for being pg in the future

    • @xum0007
      @xum0007 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      i feel you so much on that. i was a big man (pf/c) at 12 and stood at 5'7-5'8. i was in the top 1% of kids my age but my parents arent tall and there was no guarantee i was going to grow any further. everyone around me told me im done for and will cap out at 5'10-6'0 at most. They were wrong. I'm barely 15 and stand at 6'4-6'5 in shoes. i prefer the SF position because of its versatility but if i grow a bit more i can definitely play PF/C a lot too. but yes, unless you are 7'2 or taller, its always good to learn guard skills. I hope you grow my boy, but even if you cant be a big man in the future, post moves will always be an asset.

    • @BasketballU
      @BasketballU  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      You are correct. Because the game is positionless now it is beneficial for you to continue to develop all the skills you can to be able to play power forward, wing, or possibly one of the guards spot depending on whether or not you’re a shooter playing the shooting guard role or better dribbler and passer playing the PG spot! Keep working! You got this!

      Spread the court to make pace for PGs and SGs, if you can become a threat from mid range and back and then have dribble moves to create pace for yourself your gonna be a great PF/SF. Watch some KD

      @armanfaed9110 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If you tall + tough + clean footwork, C and PF suits you. If you short + fast + good at shooting, you area suited to play as PG SG and SF. Thats how i always classify a position and their roles.
