    Oh Tracy! When I was 22, I decided I wanted an A-line bob . I had totally taken for granted that I was an avid runner that NEEDED to be able to pull my hair back when I was out running. For 2 it so months, I had to section it into 2 tiny pony tails. I looked so silly! Lesson learned! :)

    Thanks Tracy! What a great stylist . . . I’ve had mine a long time too, she knows me and my life style. She makes me push the envelope a bit. Love your color, love the warm tones. I’m (she is) switching it up and we (I) am going for the blonde/gray blending (I’ve never been a blonde). The more she worked with my color, the more I love it! Thanks so much for sharing how your stylist blow dries your hair. Much love, Tracie!

  • @amixeblu

    I have tailbone length wavy/curly hair. Because of budget reasons, I cut it myself (well, my mom does it for me). I use something called a compact cut, which means I make a ponytail on my forehead and snip a bit off. This is thankfully flattering on me, as my hair is so long, fine, but I have a lot of it. So these layers are a life-saver for me. I have never had a problem with my hair, and I love the layers. Thank goodness, because the money for a hairdresser just isn't there. I wouldn't recommend this type of "cut" for hair shorter than waist, because you will end up looking like an 80s rocker. :) Ask me how I know! ;)

    Loved this video Tracy. Your hair is always perfection. Now I see why! Lovely hairdresser that gives you VIP service. Ha ha. I love your clothing choices also. Tops you select help hair and face look incredible too. All about the colors and prints etc.
    I like to keep hair products to a minimum for less build up. Do you have a favorite leave in conditioner?
    Hair spray favorite?
    I like Loreal Smooth Intense perfecting balm (dime size worked through entire hair) for my frizz control and Living Proof control hairspray! It's not stiff or sticky crunchy. Smells great and is easy to run a brush through later on that night. I like Loreal Power Moisture DetangIer spray on my damp hair after I wash and towel dry. Then, it's so easy to comb out. I like your style !!! 👑

    I picked up the travel size trio of Alterna Caviar and had it for a long time thinking I would take it with me while traveling. Bear in mind that this small box was an impulse purchase at Ulta, simply something by the check out. I eventually heard something about it here on youtube and has it ever changed my hair. It may cost a bit more, but after the initial try out on the small size I had, I went out and purchased the full size. My hair is now so soft and silky!

    I enjoyed the video. Your hair looks great! All of my life I had curly hair and I wore it longer and just went with the curl/waves. I used DevaCurl and I loved it. I was devastated when I lost my hair during chemo, but it grew back. It came in straight as a board! LOL I'm wearing it short and sassy now, something I couldn't do before with the different texture. I'm thinking about growing it shoulder length now. Lots of ideas!

    Tracy, I just happened to find you and glad I did. I needed some modulation. Watched a few of your videos. Thanks for sharing. I love the hair I was asking my stylist about my hair so need a change it’s been short a wail growing longer and was looking for something age appropriate as I’m now going to be 57 in July. Looking to achieve a healthy me with me hair. Take care :)

    How lucky with your Lori....plus blessed with wonderful hair.
    My hair is very similar to yours. I am petit and I have been told that I should wear it short..I discovered that it is a myth. Anyhow, maybe I should not wear it below my neck but long enough to pull it up when necessary especially working out, cleaning and cooking, etc.
    I love your style and will go for it. I trust my stylist and will guide her into your video......
    ....please ask Lori what is her opinion about the length. Overall I have to feel comfortable and beautiful! Thank you, thank you thank you!

    Tracy,
    I would always suggest splurging on shampoo and conditioner. It will not only determine the longevity of your color but it will hydrate and repair as needed for all different hair types. Products are mostly for styling needs. That's my opinion anyhow. :)
    Thank you for sharing. And thank you Lori for your helpful advice. Always look forward to your girl chat videos! ❤️

      T KikParish So what product do you recommend for color treated hair for shampoo and conditioner?

    • @tkikparish4806
      @tkikparish4806 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Kyle Guersey
      Redken has a color extend line. It is reasonably priced. Good ratings. Most professional products have options for color treated hair. I would suggest you consult with your stylist about the condition of your hair and hair type. You may need shampoos that treat damaged hair or provide volume or shine. Everyone’s needs are different. Good luck! 😊

    my very first perm, the hair dresser was half way through cutting when she asked "do you have heated rollers?" my answer (I was 15/16) "um, no?" next question: "do you have a curling wand then?" I was getting confused now: "nooo, no curling wand. why?" terrifying answer? "well in order to maintain this style? you'll need to set it in rollers every time you wash it!". summer school holidays, dad's just installed a below ground pool and I'm going outside for a dip 2-3 times a day = style? nope! #lookedlikeshirleytemple #ringletcity

    Thanks Tracy. My hair has really thinned out in the last 10 months (the consequences of turning 60, I’d imagine). Do one of your hair videos mention the best product for this? Since you are blessed not to have this problem you may not have addressed this. Is it possible you could pose this question to Lori? My hair is also color treated so i need a product that wont strip the color. Thanks so much!

      Kyle Guersey I’m 65 and my hair went through a big thinning phase about a year ago. My Dermatologist said to take 10,000 units of biotin a day and also take Viviscal Professional Strength. Derm sells this and not cheap, but was willing to try it.

    • @debbieklemcke2221
      @debbieklemcke2221 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Kyle Guersey I have had good results with this. It’s not as thick as it was but it has come back. My stylist has a supplier that can get Viviscal (much cheaper than Derm!) but it has been on back order with supplier so I’m still getting it w Derm

    • @kyleguersey5004
