After over 700 hours on 24 and having a crippling addiction since FIFA 14. This is the first one that actually broke me. Take my advice after a month away from this, its not worth your mental health.

Dude same with me I have played fifa every year since fifa 06, I played FUT from the time it got introduced. This fifa I have never in my life had so many breakdowns from a game from the weekend league disconnnects to playing against the same teams and tactics every game. I have 450+ hours on this game and I swear atleast 100 of those hours are me just sitting in the menus and not playing because I don’t wanna get shafted by pack addicted kids.

27:51 ea sports is quite literally the ONLY game that when the opponent leaves at a draw you don’t get the win, do you understand how fundamentally insane that is.
That’s why I stopped playing 3 years ago. I literally remember sitting there after my opponent left at tie and it just hit me…. This one thing over all of the other trash opened my eyes and I wasn’t even mad. I put the controller down and I haven’t played it since. I almost got it this year so I started watching my OGs Nick and Inception…I am so glad I did. Stopped me from wasting my money.
They also kick you out matches when you are winning with a review and when you are losing and you get kicked out.. it's a DNF
While taking your contracts and ruining your players stats, I know it isn't that deep but it doesn't count as playing yet everything else shows you've played 🤢

I had already decided a few weeks ago that this would be my last year of Fifa, but after this video and the last few weeks I don't see the point in continuing to play and have now uninstalled the game. It's not about EA Sports learning anything from it, it's just about having a better life, going to bed earlier and having more energy at work and in my normal life. I hope many people will do themselves a favor by uninstalling the game.

It’s true inception. We are addicted. I’ll admit it. I am. I want to open packs. I want to pack players. That’s why I’ll grind. But it’s so sad to see that our sweat isn’t recognized by the rewards. The game has gone to selling packs. There’s no point in playing champs. The real grind now is to slave away at a real job and spend your paycheck on packs. It’s ridiculous. I’m no 20-0 player. I’m a 11-16 win player. But even then. We won’t get any good cards. The wins don’t reciprocate rewards. I’m definitely not playing next year.

You know how disrespectful it is for a game to not reward you to any degree for the time consumed for this game. Think about it. You spend hours, if someone quits at a draw, you wasted your time, if you spend hours in the game to get a players, you'll get shit all, then you also spend hours to WORK and spend money for packs. All for you to start all over again for the next fifa. Let's not even take into account the mental health aspect it affects. Even in a spiritual level. So much anger is trauma to the body. Your health diminishes because you're not even enjoying the game. If you lose your stressed if you win you're stressed. Both win or lose, you didn't enjoy the process of winning or losing because let's be real, it's jammy, luck based, scripted, very rarely is it a fair game that's enjoyable

Game play is absolutely AWFUL! I have never played a game with such delay and slow menus and servers disconnecting so frequently. It’s flat out embarrassing for a billion dollar company to operate game like this. The sad and truth part is that EA KNOWS 100% that they do NOT have any COMPETITION at all or even any regulations that audits them as a gaming company. They will keep getting away with this sadly because they’ll drop a new game, spends loads to advertise it, create HYPE etc…..

I left fifa in February, This year I was playing on one of NBA Super Stars , he probably spent like 4-5 thousands on FC points ( he doesn’t even play the game lmao ) . I got toty Messi form that sbc ( doesn’t matter at all ) . As someone who used to play rtg and reach to the best teams by playing the game / trading

You know whats weirder. I STRUGGLED this weekend league as well. I couldn't put my finger on it but my opponents were quicker, more agile, better through balls and my players who I usually get 10-13 wins with were mudded. Turns out (happens often) my online match settings had been switched back to crossplay despite me checking before starting weekend league that it was turned to off and checking again after the second game it was off (i was 2 wins at that point) then it went down hill. Check again after getting 9 wins and boom it was switched to crossplay.
Been playing since 2013. Its been a draining experience the last couple of years. I've finally decided to stop playing since this years TOTY.
Uninstalled and wont ever play an EA game again! Not because I didn’t get Mbappe nor Messi but because I don’t want to lose to shitters with both of them every other game!
If they know it was a glitch/mistake why cant they take the cards back and give compensation like an extra 2/3 player picks as it ruins the game for the rest of the community coming up against these OP cards so often.
I've owned and spent a lot of money since fifa 08. Chasing meta cards as the game has downgraded worse and worse I can safely say that I'm done after this year. I'm going back to mlb the show. It's so much better I'm glad my run is over. Good luck to all

I’m a casual player. I play on World Class. On 23 I mostly feel like my mistakes are my own and I could improve. On 24 it feels like I pass to the wrong player and the ai scripts moments or rubber bands.
Playing fifa for past 14 years didnt play fut so that I dont get addicted. Was my first year in FUT and all these. Finally stopping without fut life is 10x better

And about finishing, I find my issue with finishing is the Super Saiyan GKers rather than me being off-target. I'll pepper my opponents goal 5/6 times in a row before the game will let a goal in. And I'll watch the highlights after and they allow weird fingertip grazes, or even worse- 0 contact with the ball and hand, to count as a strong save.

I think the main difference comparing this game to other game communities is how individualistic this community is. You never interact with anyone in game, and if you do its probably some psycho cussing you out in messages. There really is no FIFA community, its just a bunch of individuals who feel they are constantly in competition with each other.

one pattern that ive noticed was it always depends on meta player to compete in WL. let say example like icon player like puyol, pires etc. even they are good in real life, we unable to use it in our team because we couldnt compete with meta players. end up we need the samee player like vvd konate etc

Server overload is always the problem from 8am to 11pm.

It's crazy that they don't even have a 'Domination' game mode like NBA 2K has. Or any game modes that are unique at that. There's only like 3 ways to get cards and it's just tragic. Sad part is that they will keep getting away with it too..
At this point it's not the game modes, I'd rather the gameplay be playable then have more game modes
