Well, since you cant see where he's holding the dolly behind the panel, it's safe to say that he could be doing "off dolly" work...where he's supporting the panels next to the spot he's hitting (shrinking)

True but hammer on stretches the weld shrinkage your always gonna get!

What hes doing will shrink the metal hammer on dolly can shrink if you know the how to do it ,as you see in the video it shrinks.

Only under heat he can shrink the metal on the high spots doing like he does, but need massive knowledge where to put the heat on. You can also ruine everything with this method.
