Selling courses and coaching, the new Tech jobs...
@@UnixBro courses have been around.
Most people don't have access to people that can help them in their careers 🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️
No, it's just the people who are in want to actually help others.
You hating on another man having multiple streams of income in tech ? Not a good look..
@@TimeStampGuy1 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
@@TimeStampGuy1 , having multiples streams of income is great, but not at the expenses of people ignorance... To be honest, I am tired of seing some professional like myself luring thousands of people in a field where they really know what it takes to get into... Why charge when you can just give free available information to them ?
This was an awesome interview. Miranda always drops some gems.
@@Nique-nk7sz yes she does!!
Just signed up for the coaching. I can't wait to get started working with my guy Henri. Ready to take it up a notch.
Miranda is super dope. It's great to see our people advocating for US.

Great vibes. It was a great, real interview. I have to figure out his move on from my NOC job badly.
I know your pain
I had a voice recorder also and I would play it over and over while im sleep I learned subconsciously reason why I would remember lyrics to a song was bc i played my radio(yes im old) while i was sleep when i was younger. That shit worked too
@@jaegee3716 I used to do that when I started out playing the drums. I remember all parts to those songs till this day
I started in Finance and then in cybersecurity. Leadersh🎉ip has no idea to understand/concept of risk.
Where is she getting her PHD from? Sounds like a degree I would pursue sometime next year.
Hey great video. I have a question. I have a bachelors in Psychology and was wondering about getting my masters in cyber security or information assurance. Would this be a great choice if I have zero experience in tech. My goal right now is to get Identity access management. Do think I should do this or should I leverage my bachelors to try to get into cybersecurity.
@@itslight8294 I would focus on getting security skills before going back to school
Yes I've done exactly this and have my CISSP
@@jdhan3349 so you also got security skills before going for your masters?
Defenitly come to Atlanta bro! That would be dope.

You're missing any context of what she does to get paid $10,000 for 5 hours of work. This video is missing important information and just yapping for an hour and half.
More like "tech tuah"!
Edit: He changed the title and thumbnail because he was being pressured for being misleading

I am about to go back to an oven that i need to light up to cook. I hate smart appliance I dont have alexa or anything like that i unplub my aunts alexa when i visit
People have no idea what cybersecurity should be focused on?
Another affiliated course where the coaches get rich on your dime...wake up! We need integrity and truth. How many people paid for these course and got a job right away and also making same bank or more? Show data, stats ,receipts.

Techtual deleted my previous comment - but yeah these coaches get rich off your dime and you learn nothing that isn't google-able

I literally told him to do the research on the course ...
TechTuahYapper
Every meaningful skill in the industry can be learned with free, high quality courses. Is this person being paid $2k/hour for themselves? or are their projects/work billable at those rates? I wouldn't believe for a second that there is a governance, risk, compliance SME that has a salary that equates to $2k/hour. Even the largest corporations in the world like amazon, google, meta wouldn't pay this for GRC.
@@HandsomeGenius just watch the video geez
If I had a white guy in the thumbnail you wouldn't make this long comment
The video isn't even based off of money
@@TechTualChatter It's got nothing to do with race. Saying the video isn't based on money is misleading. You made the thumbnail reference the dollar amount multiple times and it is the first thing in the title we are told about Miranda
@HandsomeGenius yeah but why pose questions instead of watching first ?
@@TechTualChatter 1:30:45 there is what appears to be a cut where she begins explaining an agreement to charge $10k for 5 hours of work. The reason I mention the cut is because there isn't any context to where this comes from aside from Miranda explaining her experiences as a adjunct professor and a mentor. Based on the context briefly before and the contents of her site I would imagine that these are fees for speaking at some event but again, it isn't in the video itself so I am left to speculate.
also - why gloss over the idea that the 'video isn't based off of money' when that is what is blatantly happening with the promotions for this video on social media and the thumbnail (twice) and the title itself.
Edited 2 hours to 5 hours to correct mistake
@@HandsomeGenius it's 5 hours not 2
idk if its just me. but GRC sounds really boring to me. i'd much rather have a technical role
Grc can be technical and fun. It's exist in so many areas
Try your hand at pentesting or bug bounties - those fields are more merit-based and your own skills are what will keep you afloat instead of the more conventional job market swings. GRC and other easier cyber roles are very soon going to be oversaturated
@HandsomeGenius not true plus pentesting is hard to get into
@@TechTualChatter Easy to get into with free resources - like portswigger, blackhillsinfosec, hacktricks, tryhackme, etc... (This is just me trying to give members of the cybersecurity community a place to look for information about learning how to do bug bounty/pentesting ~ not an advertisement + deleting this would be working against people trying to break into the industry)
@@HandsomeGenius yeah that’s the goal, just starting with the fundamentals currently tho. Google cyber cert, sec+, net + ->pjpt ->oscp as well as python/linux learning along the way is my current path I’m taking
Mannnn the edits was killing me smh
